Pila Chargers

I checked into this over a year ago
And after much research I learned that
It is an old misprint in the Pila manual that has never been corrected
And it has been repeated everywhere Pilas are sold for years now
I guess it will never be corrected
The Pila definitely does not trickle charge
This has been confirmed many times by many people, some of which are even smarter than I am be

Yup, it is still in the Pila manual

I just received Pila charger a day ago and the manual that came with it lists Stage 4 of the 4-stage charging process as:
"Stage 4 - Stop charge (no constant current), stand-by mode."
The manual has 2011 as the copyright year.

Now if all the sites that sell Pilas would stop using the old misprinted info
