Pilot Charger -- UPDATE --

Well, bad news. The USB/Wall Chargers we *thought* were coming in this shipment of Pilots didn't in-fact make it.

Manufacturer was out, so kits will continue to ship with standard chargers until the next shipment comes in (mid next week)

I would also like to add, if this is a Key *Turn-Off* and those who have already purchased, no longer want a Pilot kit, please let me know by 12 midnight tonight (2/16/09) and we can refund you ASAP!

What is the difference between the standard charger and the USB/wall charger?

The Standard is just a wall charger.

The USB/Wall is a USB Charger with a wall attachment. You can use on either

I'm definitely keeping my order in and eagerly awaiting receiving the Pilot with whatever charger it will come with this now.
For future reference, would there be a substantial reason to buy the USB charger separately down the road? Does it charge faster or anything?

This is the USB/ Wall charger that is dual purpose.


The normal charger is what we are all accustomed to so no pics required, i guess. Correct me if i'm wrong steve.

This definitely adds value. Intellicig is selling these separately at around $23 but absolutelyecigs at around $10. Not a biggie though if you don't charge with USB anyways.

So the Pilot won't charge particularly fast on USB like I have read the Intellicig EVO does?

My understanding is that they are exactly the same but since Steve is the supplier and owner of the Pilot, we'll let him confirm.

I wouldn't care about the USB unless that is the case, not that I would cancel my order, just need to know if I need to purchase one when they come in or from absolutelyecigs...

dang, i was hoping to get the usb...mostly to see if it can fast charge...oh well, too late now, and i doubt i would have canceled anyway, i'm lazy, and want spare parts on hand in case something should go on me.
