Um, you are aware that he just spend the last week or so moving from Cali to Nashville, and goes back to business tomorrow, right?

yeah I'll accept that as the reason I haven't gotten a reply for me wanting an exchange but it isn't a reason for the other two times.
I'm not completely turned off with puresmoker yet due to me getting involved with them during their move and a little before their move - so they have been busy and only had 2 others working for them - , but I am stating what has happened in the past with my experience with puresmoker and that I hope the experience gets better as all you guys on here say that steve is the best when it comes to CS. If not oh well - i end up with a semi-working pilot and prob. will end up buying a dse901 from someone else, but I would rather just have a dse901 and not waste ~$50 on something I will not end up using that often or maybe even finding someone to buy my pilot from me. But I will wait a few more days for steve's response.

Just to add a bit of info without getting involved in any good v evil debate, I managed to borrow a bulldozer last week and dug John out from under a mountain of work at Intellicig on Sunday morning at 6am!! The place has changed from a busy office and warehouse into what looked like Santa's workshop with people all over the place vaping and packing and vaping!!
I asked about the Pilot batteries and was told that they might well be copies of the original EVO battery as that is what the Chinese do a lot of, no surprise there. The programming is done at source and once the microprocessor is programmed it cannot be changed, unlike many car ECUs etc. Reprogramming can cost several thousand pounds so it has to be right first time to avoid a big expensive mistake. It's not just the cut off but the whole performance that is controlled and optimised by the programming and Intellicig spent 2 months working on that aspect alone. It might not be perfect but judging by the volume of sales it is one of the best performers.
There are a lot of changes in the pipeline and Intellicig seem to be keeping pace in what is still a volatile business. For those asking about US suppliers, there is a list on their website of approved distributers with more coming as import/export details are finalised. I saw sites from Greece, Poland, Romania and Bulgaria as well as the US.
As for John, he's busy catching up on calls and emails but waved and smiled as always.
Anyway, now I'm off to the garage to emulate Scott's blinger!
Alan.
