Pink Spot Vapors "Strawberry Cotton Candy"

Hi,

I can't seem to find a forum for PSV, I assume they don't have their own forum?

Anyways I wanted to ask a question for people who have vaped their Strawberry Cotton Candy from 2010 to to late 2012...I'm trying to figure out if it's just me or if indeed something has been changed.

I vaped this stuff daily for a year and bought numerous bottles of it during that time, I absolutely loved it, you got equal taste of both strawberry and cotton candy. Then all of a sudden about a year after I had been vaping this flavor (late 2011), I ordered a new bottle as I was running low on my current stash, when I received the new bottle all I could taste in it was strawberry! I thought that someone had made a mistake at PSV so I contacted them and they insisted there had been no mistake and that there was indeed cotton candy in it...yet I've been vaping the stuff for a year and all of a sudden I can't distinguish the cotton candy all of a sudden?

So I ordered another bottle of it in early 2012 and the same thing happened...all I taste is strawberry in it, not a hint of cottan candy to be found! They insist they have not changed their recipe and while I know taste is subjective, a flavor I have vaped for over a year and never had a problem with it taste wise and then all of a sudden when buying a new bottle the taste is gone is just something I'm not buying into. I firmly believe they have changed something and are just not admitting to it. It really annoys me because I have very few flavors that I like and having to remove a flavor from my list really hurts me in the long run.

So I wanted to ask anyone here if they vaped this juice back in 2010-2012 what their experience was with it and if they noticed a difference in taste probably starting in the fall of 2011 to the present and if so what was the difference you noticed?

What exactly does cotton candy taste like? Sugar? If that's the case it's entirely possible that they didn't change the recipe, but the flavoring went bad on them and they just don't know it.

I've read on this forum lots of people's all day vapes going funky on them for one reason or another.

It will be a long time until one company makes a definitive unchanging flavor, like Coke or Pepsi makes soda. Right now it's a "folk" art.

As i am a local near Pink Spot. I am just gonna say ask to speak to Sandi the owner because some of her employees really arent customer friendly at all. I had such a bad expierence with one of the employess i refuse to go in the store unless i have no choice and had to ask about this employees schedule so that i wont go in when that person is there. Now as a customer should i have to go to those lengths no but i found Sandi to be very recptive to customers problems. And ive found there juices to be really good and vape ready. But that one expierence has made me explore other juice vendors. I still get certain juices from them but not all like i used to. So basicly its come down to how you feel they are handling your concerns. If your not happy with how they are handling your concerns move on.

Yes it's the "sugar taste" that is missing, it's just pure strawberry as if I had ordered "strawberry." They insist that nothing is missing but I know otherwise, I lived on this stuff almost 24/7!

Their juice is severely overpriced but when you find a flavor that really works for you, you stick with it because in the end it's worth it. I really wish they would actually do something about it because I miss the flavor so much, I only have like 4 other flavors that I like, I have tried hundreds of flavors in my 2 years of vaping and it's really just a few that I vape (minus Strawberry Cotton Candy now.)

Sorry to hear thats what your experiencing. I fond Sandi to be receptive if you word things a certain way. But now that i think about it when i first spoke to Sandi about my problem I didn't feel her receptiveness till i changed my wording.

I did have a similar situation with one of my juice orders when i first went there. I ordered a few flavors including a menthol. Well when i went to use the peach it had a strong mentol taste which I didn't want it wasn't a big deal to me. So when i walked into the store next time to get juice i did present a case that it did happen and that the health code does require the use of separate utensils on all items due to allergies. Needless to say that hasn't happened again.

But though i have been disappointed by them the only reason i can think of for the lack of CS is that they are 1 of only 2 B&M in all of southern Nevada. And they are now severly over whelmed every time i had walked in there to the point of at least a 30 min wait time before you got a sales person. It wasn't like that to long ago and think they have more business then they can handle and the mixers are getting so over whelmed (they could very well be taking short cuts they dont think anyone would notice) just a thought cant say this is fact. But the fact still remains something is happening.

If Sandi doesn't pick up there game they wont last long here because the people here are very fickle and bad news travels so fast here i've seen businesses go out of business over night.

I hope that doesnt happen and they wake up instead of putting blinders on when they get a complaint. Because i really do like there juices for the fact that they do taste really good and are ready vape.

This is a tid-bit I saved from a thread the other day.

1 8mL bottle of ethyl maltol crystals will make over 40mL of ethyl maltol solution.
TPA Cotton candy is 10% EM in PG

Basically cotton candy is sugar and flavoring so if you already have the flavor you could add sweetener and see if it helps. I don't know about the Ethyl maltol crystals but you can get liquid sweeteners pretty easily.

The Chef critic has rated several of Value Vapes eliquids pretty high and they have a Strawberry Cotton candy and so does Zeusejuice. I have Strawberry cotton candy at the top of my order list so I hope you get some good suggestions.

Also looking for a great Cin-a-bun vape if someone has one they recommend.
