Pistachio Ice Cream

I am a huge fan of Pistachio nut ice cream, and this is as close as I can come to the real deal. 60/40 is my preference. Feel free to adjust accordingly.

-edit- fresh out the gate was good, but a week steep and flavor was right where I want it.

FA- Pistachio 6%
FA-French Vanilla 4%
CAP-Vanilla Custard 5%
CAP-Marshmallow 3%
TFA-Sweet Cream 2%

Glad to help =], on a side note, you can substitute the pistachio for strawberry and it comes out extremely close to cuttwoods unicorn milk/vapor kick unicorn tears, I know that it has been a huge hype recently, I find I like TFA blueberry more than TFA strawberry/strawberry ripe, again just substitute the pistachio for blueberry. And that has been an all day vape for some time now.

Wondering where you bought you flavourart French vanilla? Can't seem to fine it anywhere.. Also wondering if you have tried flavorwests sweet cream? If so is it the same taste as TFA?

I have a few questions though:

1) Did you try the vanilla bean ice cream with this recipe?

2) Did it try it with koolada?

I would bet the French Vanilla is TFA since FA doesn't offer a French Vanilla flavoring. FW's Sweet Cream is pretty close, IMO, to TFA's though it does come off a bit more pungent. I don't much care for FW's version or TFA's, though the few times I've used either, I've preferred TFA's due to the way it tastes as it steeps. Beyond that, I know that TFA's has Acetoin in it. As of right now, there's no telling what's in FW's version as they have yet to produce information on their flavors.

French Vanilla was TFA not FA my apologizes on the typo, I prefer TFA to FW sweet cream as well, to me FW has more of a buttery taste.

This sounds delightful. Does anybody know if TFA's pistachio tastes the same as FA? If FA is better I'll add it to my next order.
