Ok, so I finally received my 510 kit in the mail last night and while one batt was charging, I used the other one for a little bit. Followed all the instructions on blowing out the atty, used a brand new cart, which I dripped just enough juice into(all VG), put a fe drops in the atty alson, lined up the cart to the bridge, etc, etc.....

Took that first vape and was like WTF??? :?:
Vapor was thin, almost next to nothing....proceeded to try a few more times...nothing. So, I waited until this morning, when the other batt was fully ready to go. Didn't change cart or atty, just batt. Took a drag and still the same thing.

I have read that some attys need breaking in, but at what point do you just consider it DOA??
Should I just report this to the company I bought it from, before it gets too late just to be on the safe side??

Your key words here might me "just enough juice", all i can think of is maybe not enough??? Did the kit come with a drip tip? if so try using it. Putting the cartridge in is really no big deal. And even if your atty needs to be broken in should still put out a great deal of vapor. Try this and post back

OPPS SORRY thought it was an ego don't know about the 510

Is there a gurgling sound coming from your atty when you take a hit? If there is, then you've flooded it and that will put the kibosh on vapor. Priming a regular 510 atty only take a couple of drops. Try blowing out the atty into a paper towel, reattach it and try again.

Make sure that when you take a hit, you're not sucking on the mouthpiece too hard. Vaping is a lot different from smoking, and the draw shouldn't be like sucking a thick milkshake through a straw.

try blowing out the liquid you already added, into a napkin (wipe threaded end clean, and blow through it), then try again. I have had this happen with new atomizers, after removing most of the primer, and juicing up, just not getting much of a hit. So I blow it clean and drip 2-3 more drops on the atomizer and then it worked just fine. Possible that I flooded it, or the juice did not soak in good enough?? not sure, but it seemed to help. Worth a try if all you are wasting is a few drops. If your coil is heating up, then it is not DOA, it has to be another problem.

I believe I may have heard a slight gurgle....won't hurt to blow out and try again. I switched over to my extra atty, without priming it (but blowing out the factory primer) and it works like a charm....

Thanks for the quick responses! :p
