stuck in a squishy pod called my brain
Yep. Years ago, my sons & their friends used to think I was a conspiracy theorist, because I refused to use FB or LinkedIn on my phone, and wouldn't download free flashlight or poker apps that wanted permission to contacts & everything on my phone. This was before all the massive breaches over the last few years.

And I still don't understand the draw to Alexa, et al. For me, they don't offer near enough function to consider having it eavesdrop on me all the time. Still kinda creepy to me. Believe it or not, I even started putting a piece of tape over my laptop webcam after the news of that Aaron's webcam scandal years ago.

These things always remind me of Minority Report. I don't want to have my eyes cut out.;)

True story: A couple of months ago, Wife and I watching a movie, and I comment on a Corvette we see. She asks what year it is, and I tell her 1962. She argues that she thinks it's a later model, probably a 1967. Pull out my phone, type in ONLY 1962, and this is what pops up in the 1st screenshot below. Out of all the things 1962 that could be pulled up. Hit enter, and it shows the 2nd screen, with a 1962 next to a 1967. Maybe a coincidence, but gave me heebie jeebies.

Your phone is listening,,,I like you covered up the tablet + laptop cameras for the 4tablets laying around and 2laptops desktop always wears a mini hat. Covering the cameras happens upon arrival to our home. As for conversations,, ,, who ever is listening knows we love our dog and have a good sense of humor watching TV or talking about events of the day. =0we are boring them or entertaining them ;)

It even reflects on third party websites with targeted ads generally bought through Google. There's one site where I keep getting new office space available near me (and no, I'm not in the market for space), and for a carmaker I haven't owned a car from in many years, although I always liked their offerings.

The next big thing needs to be parts we can modify our existing gear with,,, ie my ammit 25 has chimney adapter to take tank from 2 to 5mls,, would like to see glass to get sorted out by sizes, , chimney adapters, ,,,wick port plugs,, metal cage/cylinders to cover glass as needed, all of this while we wait for solid state or better batteries.

Get away from square mods, human hands hold curves more naturally

No I don't want my mod Bluetooth to whatever,,, that's cheesy gimic waiting to fail. I don't like gimics, ,, it's like being labeled as stupid by the seller.

Internet connected mods with social media plugins that publish your puff counter stats and current mod settings to the internet. People are stupid enough to think that was a good idea.

Unfortunately my guess is the same. Android-powered mods fully connected to internet. Personally I would never use such thing, but I, too, see people stupid enough to like this idea. “So convenient!”, they say. Ok, is my answer.

This month I saw in that e-cig Magazine a mod made by Voopoo, I guess (don’t remember the brand right now) that comes with an integrated BT speaker. I only thought “what the f**k?” Anybody here knows anybody older than 18 that would want an integrated BT speaker in their mods? For what, Jesus Christ??

So, yes, I can see an Android mod coming just around the corner...

While we are dreaming, how about a DIY mixing machine. You add all ingredients in bulk to separate chambers, put an empty bottle underneath and enter the recipe and it auto-dispenses the correct amounts of ingredients into the empty bottle. All you have to do is give it a shake.

That one kind of exists, already.

Yeah, thanks Bad. I did see the Rhythm quite a while back, and saw Zophie's review. Now they actually have a pod called Zip (who doesn't have a pod now?). I gather they're not very good. Yet. I mean, I'm sure they work....but good enough to supplant current vaping products? I don't think they're that close yet. That's what I meant by "developed to be feasible."

Kind of like LED's have been around for over 50 years, but weren't developed enough to really be feasible as a general lighting source until about 2008. There's probably some promise there, though. That, or maybe microwave. Put the Amana RadarRange engineers on it!

Like SodaStream but for DIY, we shall call it VaporStream.

Maybe they could make a pop-in coil that DOESN'T leak.

You can buy one TODAY...the Zenith has a pop-in coil...and never leaks...

Well I know drop ins are getting more and more popular...In the Zenith, do you have to undo the tank first?

You DO have to remove the Tank from the Mod...but...you DON'T have to first empty the Zenith...

Zenith is very leak resistant yes, but not leak proof.

Leave one in your car on a hot summer day and you'll understand. Also if for some reason you feel the need to remove the coil and put it back in a careful clean of contact points is necessary because a simple unplug, remove, plug back in without wiping juice off the rubber will result in some ooze past the seal.

Yes it is very good at sealing but is not completely without issues. If you don't plug in the coil that last little few microns, again it will leak.

Those were my experinces with a Zenith before switching to refillable pod devices.
