what you just described sounds pretty amazing, my a2 should be here sometime within the near future i am going to have to try one of these wicks.....so no leaks even with 40 drops in there?
Great BJ thanks for starting this thread because yeah I was having to go back and try to find all the info and it was getting confusing. I have a question BJ. Can I make one of those wicks with the supplied mesh from Bulli? Or do I need a bigger piece? I'm waiting on it to arrive and want to know if I need to order some of the larger sheets.

I am normally rolling a two inch wick and start with a 2" by 1 1/2" rectangle of #400 mesh.

BJ- I have everything I need to build a SS mesh wick. How would you describe the flavor with your setup vice the way it performed with just fiber wick and the cartridge setup? I have not attempted a dual coil SS mesh wick and am curious before I attempt it if the flavor is stronger. My A-2, as is, tends to mute my flavors.
I vape a tobacco/menthol 70%vg/30%pg 0 nic juice and normally the menthol flavor disappears after a few hours on a regular wick, it does not weaken on this ss wick setup.
This wick works well with the original A2 cart using the white part. I opened a small hole in the filler so the wick would fit without pushing the filler up. It holds about 30 drops. The white part of my cart started melting near the coil and I have quit using it. IMO Like most carts the white part brings the filler down too close to the coil and you end up with burned taste.
This is my original cart and the rough edge from melting. It melted while using the original glass wick. With the ss the coil is pretty far away but I prefer not using the white plastic part.
what's the size of the wick ? the bulli fibreglass stock or the 1/8in wick?
First time was when I tried to use tapatalk for the second time and when I tapped on this thread it magically disappeared so I didn't think it was real. The second time was when a certain someone on this thread, I won't mention names but she knows who she is, PM'd me a link and I zipped right on over to see what all the talk was about. Of course it had to be BJ's A2 loving mind behind this whole idea and I figured he may just have so many A2 mod ideas that one thread couldn't hold them all, and would you believe he's got my mind thinking up new possibilities as well. The problem is that all my new thoughts regarding the A2 are actually for using the A2-T and A2-MegaT top sections as more compact versions of BJ's classic A2 mods. So of course I can't really talk about my ideas here but suffice it to say that I believe all BJ's A2 mods could be used with the A2-T and A2-MegaT top sections. Thanks BJ for getting my mind running towards the very things you don't want mentioned in this thread.
Just rolled a dripping rig, it is the same inverted V but has two cone shaped pipe filters as hats to hold a little more juice (15 drops). It is making awesome vaper.
