All up in your grill..
Ok so with a possible ban looming many of us may find our selves in the unemployment line. Do you have a plan B? will you market hookah and real vaporizers to the names on your customer lists? Will you start selling real cigs and cigars? Turn to a life of crime? Apply for a job at the FDA? If the federal government screws us over what will we do? I'd love to hear from you!

I have to disagree with your premise that a ban is "looming".

Even if true, I do not believe it will effect the individual buyer. Imported analogs have been "banned" for a long time. Up until the day I quit analogs I was still able to get them shipped to me from overseas.

China will continue to ship me whatever I pay for.

I think suppliers have an interest in keeping the "looming ban" talk going though. I know you are not a supplier OP..........just sayin.............

Actually I am a supplier I just don't maket online. I retail at mall kiosks(we have 2) it is the sole focus of our business and if the fda wins this court case it is a realistic possiblity that I could show up for work one day with some branch of law enforcement there to confiscate our inventory and close our doors forever.

Well, I stand corrected...........you do have a vested interest in the "looming ban" talk.

Not really, in fact the threat of a ban hurts me if anything. mall walkers aren't going to buy this at all if they think it is gonna be gone next month. I am not selling juice at all and I am not selling anything online. My customers don't stockpile. I would like nothing more then to see fda approval and the subject doesn't come up during my sales pitch unless the customer asks me in which case I am totally honest.

DealExtreme: $20.90 True 50mW Green Laser Pointer Pen Black

trog

Pardon the brief threadjack, but why in the world does the FDA have anything to say about this? It's not a drug, it's not a food (at least for earthlings...) and yet there's "Important FDA Warning for all >5mW Lasers: FDA advices all customers that these lasers may be purchased only if you are NOT a citizen of the United States and you are NOT currently living in the United States."

Beyond that there's the "and" between citizen of the US and living in the US, do I correctly understand that the FDA is saying we have to abide by US law even when we're not actually in the United States?

I grow increasingly weary of the nannies in Washington DC...
