Plastic Cracking? I hope not! (mixed flavors)

I did hear that certain flavors cause plastic to crack. Cinnamon being the main one.

A friend of mine gave me a whole bunch of her extra juices (yay me lol). And just realized something...I put snickerdoodle flavor in my plastic tank (Kanger evod). Would a flavor with a small amount of cinnamon crack the plastic, like snickerdoodle or apple pie? Does the color play a factor? (thought I read something about darker colors)

Also: Mt Baker keeps a list of their juices that may damage some plastic tanks. There are recurring themes in the list, such as cinnamon, clove, citrus, and wintergreen.

Not all tanks will crack, I've seen photos of various clearomizers and plastic tips that looked like they were partially torched/melted. Another thing to watch out for is fogging:

This is an iclear30 tank that was filled with Green Apple, I don't recall the vendor/brand, but I do remember that the juice had a really strong perfume/chemical taste that I suspected could damage my tank. Sure enough, as soon as I dried it out, I really could see the after effect of it.

In your case, adding a little bit of juice that reacts with plastic may not crack it, but check to see if its making the plastic cloudy. Its very easy to see once you dry the tank. Speaking of which, the flavors listed to possibly damage plastic is case by case; there are many different e-juice makers of the flavors listed that have absolutely no effect on plastic. Perhaps you can ask forum members if they have had any first hand experience with Snikerdoodle damaging their tanks (please specify the brand along with the nic level and PG/VG blend)

Wow, that looks like plastic damage from solvents, particularly acetone.
