most adaptors wont work, because while they will adapt the 808 to 510 connection perfectly.. they will block the air holes in the base of the tank, unless you do some at home filing, grinding or sanding.

what you should be asking... is if there are any glass tanks that fit on your Halo battery, and for that... use the search function... because yes there are... but talking about other companies hardware.. in a vendors sub-forum...is sort of impolite ;)

So I was wondering if there's a site with well priced juices for the plastic halo tanks. I found most of mt bakers flavors I am interested are not safe.

And I don't see adapters either. I'd be interested in.
Yo, Woody,
Not many juice vendors have all safe juices. Halo is one of the exceptions. All Halo juices are safe in all Triton and G6 tanks. Other vendors might have just a few "dangerous" juices. Good sites will alert you to this. Suspect juices are usually the hot cinnamon (not cinnamon rolls, usually) and strong citrus.

Now that you have made enough posts, look around the juice section of ecf for more information.

And one more thing. "Well priced juices?" I don't shop based on price. I've had superb juice for $5 and hippo sweat tasting garbage for $20. You'll find out.

And if you want Halo juices priced well-er, use this code for 10% off juices any day at checkout -- ECFTEN2014

And welcome!

Instead of listing safe juices, our fellow ecf members have compiled a list of the Dangerous juices, that is, juices you should NOT put into a plastic tank. But they vape fine in a metal carto or glass tank.

Here is a list. I didn't go through the rest of the thread, there might be an updated list in there. I was busy watching Mr. Brady get his handed to him!

Dave,

There are a bunch of specific flavors in that list that I have put into my Triton tanks with zero problems. Clove, citrus, honeysuckle, and cola to name just a few.

The only one that has completely melted one of my tanks as if it were made of acid, was a certain pineapple flavor.

This list has a few disclaimers I should have mentioned.

1. The list is mostly about possible damage to polycarbonate tanks. I can't remember, what are Halo tanks? and the G6 minitank?

Here is the list so far. Everything listed here has caused someone a problem with a polycarbonate tank. Some have reported no issues whatsoever with some of these juices/flavorings. Use at your own risk with polycarbonate tanks.

2. I disagree with some of the list also. I have vaped Cola without harm. One vendor's cola is safe, while another isn't.

3. The list is a compilation of reported problems. I'm sure there's a few instances where a juice damaged the tank, but the damage didn't manifest until the next flavor (or wasn't noticed right away). And I'm sure there are inaccuracies and false reports.

4. Triton tanks are polycarbonate. But there are several grades of polycarbonate. What might melt another tank might not in a Triton (and vice versa).

As the list states, YMMV.

One more thing. I found an old Aspire tank under the sofa. (I wondered where it was.) It had a Heather's Heavenly Vapes blueberry (I think) in it. The tank is now frosted after having the juice in it for about 6 months.

Definitely YMMV.

There is no universal standard for the composition of polycarbonate tanks or the ingredients used in flavorings.

I would hate to see people shy away from trying new flavors like I did, just because they think a glass/pyrex tank is necessary when in fact a lot of those flavors shouldn't cause issues.

And there's always the Halo cartos, perfectly safe for anything, and the vape is pretty good. It just is a PITA to drip/fill them. I used them for a long time.

And not a bad deal, $9 for 5. And I'd get the larger XL ones. They hold 1.5ml as opposed to the standard 1.0ml
