So, a friend of mine has a business that does the molding for a certain company's tealight candles. They have a proprietary, patented, plastic that is designed to withstand ANY of the candle flavor/scents. I asked him if it would be able to handle the flavors in our e-liquids, to which his immediate response was, "absolutely". Granted, he hasn't tested it, since he's not a vaper, but he was 99% certain that his product would withstand any tank-crackers. Would it be worth it for him to pursue a manufacturer, such as Kanger or Smoktech, to see if they're interested in his plastic? I think it could potentially give him and his family a good amount of business. And, whoever decided to work with his business would potentially corner the market on clearos. Just a thought...

The companies you mentioned are based in China, China doesn't honor patents and copyright laws. If they used his product they would probably reverse engineer the composition and he would be out in the cold as far as money goes.

China clones everything, even other stuff made in China, you can bet the original designers don't get one cent from being copied.

I thought about this as well. Are there any US based manufacturers? Or, I guess that wouldn't help either - if China got a hold of one...
