My little word of advice......don't rush......just when you think it MIGHT be healed.....keep the activity to a minimum at least another couple of months. SUPER conservative management. I know bone breaks are different than ACL tears, but even with surgery on an ACL, it's a false sense of security and many many MANY dogs go back for another surgery because of a re-tear....same with bone plates as far as the "security" goes.
It will be super hard on all of you to keep the activity down....especially when the lil one starts feeling much better and thinks he's back to being invincible. It will break your heart left and right not to let him do what he desperately wants to do, but we must play the bad guy
