I know this is not the thread for this but since it is about posting photos, I need help.
I have been posting pictures with the option Insert Image from Computer. Is that ok? I think my pictures are uploaded somewhere and then inserted in post. If I try to use the from URL option for photobucket it says the image is too big???????????
What am I doing wrong.

It happens. That's why I primarily us tinypics. You can copy the photobucket to your desktop, shrink it, then upload the smaller copy (renamed so it doesn't erase your original.) But that's a pain.

On Photobucket itself, you can crop a picture but then you lose some of the image.

PB lets you edit to whatever size you want...without cropping....just click on edit and then on resize...

I use Photobucket ....

I upload from 'puter...click edit ...
click re-size ...re-size to about 400 X ??? ....
apply & save & then go back to pic & copy last code on right side ...

& then paste code directly into post (don't use the other forum options for pasting)

.....simple once you get used to it .

oh and some times the pics will still be BIG for a few minutes ,
PB refreshes every 30 mins or so ...the right size will show up after refresh
