I'd occasionally forget what time I voted the previous day and I'd get a discreet announcement, in red, that they had already received a vote from that address within the past 24 hours. When the 24 hours were up, I'd try again and the vote would go through.

So I don't know how anyone could vote more than once per device per day.

If you had different web browsers, you could vote once per browser because it was cookie based. So you could vote in IE, then firefox, then Chrome then Opera if you had them all.

I tried that the first day -- I use Safari, Chrome & Firefox on my desktop, but it said "no" when I tried the second one. If it had allowed it, I could have voted 5 times a day instead of just 3.
