And here's how that works . . .

R1 x R2
R1 + R2


Where R1 = coil 1, and R2 = coil 2.


When R1 = R2, you get . . .

R1 x R2
R1 + R2


is the same as . . .

R1 x R1
R1 + R1


is the same as

R1 x R1
2R1


is the same as . . .

Ω = ½R

So make two coils that are 2x desired Ω.

I know the math......now take ANY ohm coils you wish and plug them into the KISS equation that I supplied, that even P. Busardo uses, and you will come up with the exact same thing! It's the same equation essentially....just simplified.
