I will never pick up a stinkie again, but I'm trying to convert my Aunt and she has all these questions I am supposed to know the answer to :p

for you to calculate how much you'd have to figure the nic in the juice she's gonna vape and the nic in a whole pack ub cigs dat she smokes already
Plus the fact of all the chemicals they ADD to ciggs to make ya smoke more and keep ya hooked is different then vaping so she prolly won't vape equal to cigs anyway

I've heard in the past that the nic from vaping is absorbed into the body differently than smoking, so the actual mic levels in juice vs tobacco is not the only variable. I don't recall the details but as stated earlier it's the amount that you need to stop smoking. Also consider all the other crap in cigs you do not get from vaping that your body needs to adjust to.

as much as it takes for you to not pick up a cigarette
the average for new vapers is 3 to 5 mls Of 18 to 24 mg fluid a day everyone is different though.you can't make that comparison because it's like asking how much snuff equals a pack of cigarettes

Thanks everyone! I've heard that before too Moonies, and Mogi, that's how I started, I'm down to 12mg now :)

My Aunt is being stubborn and wants to start with 0mg, I'm trying to talk her out of it

I don't think starting at zero would be very affective, if she wants to vape at zero it should be a goal not a starting point

She will quite probably have bad withdrawals going with 0 nic.....and more so from the other stuff that's added to make ciggies so very addictive. The nic in e-liquid helps to lessen them a bit. BUT maybe if she finds some flavors that absolutely rock her world, she won't notice them too much.

Yasi, you needs ta just tell her to chill and trust in all of us and most importantly...HERSELF...none of the so called "Facts" are gonna help her. They are just gonna place an unfounded block in the back of her brain dat doesn't need to be there. Tell her to just Go with the Flow and Enjoy the experience. No two people vape the exact same with either equipment or juice. She will end up setting her own guidelines to her own success. Don't cloud her braim fucmtiums wiff dats useless craps

She is also on Chantix, so that will help her quit, but after she stops the Chantix, she wants to vape instead of smoke to satisfy cravings.

I hooked her up with lots of different juice to try, and my friend sold her an evic and a protank so she's pretty setup, all she has to do is follow my dang directions!

Right on rdsok, I'm with you!

My own recommendations are to get the same nic level as what is in the type of cigarettes they smoke. This isn't accurate but it is a place to start... a pack of ultra lights are about 6mg, light cigs are about 12mg, regulars will be 18-24mg and heavy ( Pall Mall, Lucky Strike types ) will be 24mg+
