ok, I'm back home now and can type on my puter. I always clean the contacts before charging and between changing tanks, and take pretty good care of my gear. The passthrough I have from last June still works! I've always charged from my computer and never had a problem. The two new smokteks I have worked wonderfully up until the past week. Before, it would take around two-four hours to charge and they worked great most of the day. Now, for some unknown reason, they just won't charge. It's strange that they are both doing it which leads me to believe it may be a charger problem. I just plugged one into the wall to see what happens.

On new electronics ( any type ) if you are going to see a failure it will typically be within the first month even with the upper end electronics... after that the only other types of causes usually fall under the misuse or abuse area typically ( again, these are just generalizations only, not accusations etc ). On eGo type batteries, I think the common "misuse and abuse" causes are things like banging them around or getting a leaky vaporizer that gunks up the switches and contacts... Considering the timeframe here... it is sounding like a failure issue since they are new and may even be from the same batch possibly.

Yas try this: plug your charger into a wall wart then pulg in the wall wart then screw in the battery and let me know what it does

    No flashing

On all of mine the fire button flashes then goes steady and if you look real close the red light on the charger flashes red/green also,on stick type batterys the charger is the part you screw the battery into and the wart is just the power supply. If the charger isn't going ren/green real fast it might be the charger if you want to try a different wall wart an old phone charger will work as long as it is usb type and is at least 5 volt- 500mah < thats on the back

Haven't been around long enough for anyone to miss me much, I suppose. But I'm gonna have to take a break. Work tensions. School tensions. Home tensions. It just all sorta sux at the moment. Some things I can't do anything about except change my attitude. But there are things that need my attention, things I've been neglecting.

I haven't bothered with any other contests lately, because you are a full time bunch.

    :)

Seriously, y'all are the best ECF has to offer, and I've had a lot of fun. Maybe I'll be back when I get things sorted. Thanks for the laughs and the giggles.

When I plug it in, the charger light turns green, then I screw in the battery and both the light on the charger and the firing light turn red. Every few seconds, the red light on the charger will flash off and on. I know the wall wort works, it,s the same one I use for my cell phone. Originally I had it plugged in to my computer ... so I know it's getting power. I only have one ego charger (the one the came with the batteries) my other is a passthrough cord. I will reach out to a friend and see if they have any extra ego charging cords I can try.
