Finally got my camo green powder in.
I think I'm going to offer it with the original brass detail caps.
Of course you can change the cap style.

Suggestion - why don't you start a kitty for yourself, to supplement the kind things you do for others. This way you could do more. (If that's poosible) I'm sure you'll have alot support here and I want to join that group.
A kitty for myself? Na... but thanks! I try to do for others, and how I benefit is to see the effect it has on the people being helped, and the togetherness you all have helped me with that particular cause.
IMO the smooth brass caps would look better or rounded, but the camo green plus brass sounds like a beautiful combo and very miltary-esque. 
This is heartbreaking. Bless his family, friends, and you for being such a kind and loving person. I agree with the person who said be glad knowing that you brought him happiness with your Saber.

I just thought that the detail brass cap would look more "steam punk". 99% of the military people that order a Saber get that cap. Like I said, you can always change the cap style when you order.

I like the color combo with the drab/brass. It's Army-esque. My prayers go to the fallen soldiers' families and loved ones. So sorry you had to suffer the news, Sir Lawrence. You have my respect for your efforts!
So I originally ordered my first saber in this color because my brother is a Doctor for the Navy, stationed with the marines, and I am so proud of him for the service he did in Iraq and every day for that matter. Then I read this thread for the first time tonight and am so proud that this is the first saber I ordered! What a moving and inspirational story. I knew it was a a great thing you were doing, but the story behind it makes it that much greater. Nothing but Admiration for you and your efforts! It speaks to your character and I feel honored to own one of these sabers! My brother will be home this weekend, first time I've seen him in 2 years, and I can't wait to let him know the saber has helped us quit smoking and also is supporting a great cause! I included his pic.
