I have been vaping for 4 years now. I am using the baby beast tank. I have 3 of them.
I have never used anything else because,, well, it works fine for me. My problem is that I am having a hard time finding coils. I used to by clone coils on ebay for dirt cheap. There are no longer any coils on ebay. I cant find any coils online. They are either out of stock; or very expensive. What do people do nowadays? Do people still use the baby beast or has everyone
changed to something cheaper/better? I always use Q2 .4 Ohm coils. I only found 1 place online that has them and they are $20 for 5 of them (including shipping). What would you guys do? I was so happy with the clone coils. They were inconsistent but cheap. Some would last 3 days and some would last 10 days; but for $1.35/each I was happy.
Thank you for any advice you can give.

Your baby beast tank is compatible with many other coils. I like the Vaporesso Gt coils a lot and you probably would too.

Give me a bit and I will see who has the best price right now. I will be back

Would be nice to give this man a list of all the other cols that will fit and work in his tanks. I can't help here, I'm stuck back in 2015. lol

But I can tell you that Fasttech.com seems to have the coils your looking for. Problem is, it may take a longer time than normal to get to you due to the problems in china right now. If you do buy from Fasttech.com, don't order anything that says "Ships in 'X' days" right now. Only buy what shows as "In Stock". But in the meantime, buy some coils in the USA (I assume this is where you are from?) to tide you over as you wait for your China orders.

Just a tip buying from fasttech, anything that starts with "Authentic" is authentic. But anything that is listed without "Authentic" is a clone.

Fasttech is my main go to for hardware. They take a little time to deliver but you'll save a ton of money. I'm old as well and I use a Kangertech T3S over an Ego type battery. It's old school and simple and the coils are about $1.19/ea. I mix my own as well, unflavored, for less than $20./ltr.
    Good luck on your journey

There may be hard times at Fasttech in the coming days/months with their shipping due to the Coronavirus. Normally it takes 3 to 4 weeks to get my order to AR, now it may take longer. Great place to order from if not in a hurry.

What do people do nowadays? Do people still use the baby beast or has everyone changed to something cheaper/better?

You can go here, and look at the chart on coil compatibility:

    Coil Heads Compatibility Chart

You'll see that the TFV8 Baby Beast coils are listed in the "Modern Small" section on the right, in orange print. Any coils in that SAME column, can be used in your Baby Beast Tank. (By the way, for the GeekVape coils...they show only the GeekVape IM4 coils in the chart, but the GeekVape IM1 coils work in the Baby Beast, too.) Just do a Google search for some of the coils in that column, then narrow it down to the ones that come in 0.4ohms or others (like 0.3ohms or 0.5ohms) that you may like, too.

I have several friends who also have the Baby Beast tanks. They like these coils from that coulmn: the Eleaf HW2 and HW4 0.3ohm coils, the GeekVape IM1 0.4ohm coils, and the Vaporesso GT2 0.4ohm coils. They like any/all of those even better than the SMOK Baby Beast coils. Those are all readily available from quite a few vendors, even in the US, too, and they're less than 1/2 of that $20/per box that you mentioned. In fact, I've gotten some of them for those friends for $4.39-$7.99 per box of 5...when I've found a sale and/or used a coupon code.
