Please help how do I mix no nicotine with VG and just flavor?

Okay, new to this, I am getting some TFA black cherry and some TFA Strawberrys and cream on the way,
I want to know how to mix them with VG only I am not using nicotine.
I ordered a 30ML dropper bottle but now I am thinking that's going to be to big, after watching some other mixing videos.

I am going to go to wal mart tomorrow to get some VG and hope to find some more bottles I can use. What is the best thing to use to get the VG out of the bottle? A syringe?

any help would be great. Maybe should I get a 5ml bottle? and fill it half full then put a few drops of flavor in it?

I use about 10% flavor, but with all vg u might want to use more(vg doesn't carry flavor as well) maybe start at 10 and adjust to ur taste. syringes are nice thing to have. so if ur doing 5ml bottles, use .5ml flavor and 4.5ml vg.

That can work. It's as complicated as you want to, or need to, make it really.

I go a bit more complicated because I want to be able to make the same juice repeatably and at various volumes.

Thanks, I guess I will catch on as I do it, maybe i could play around with mixing water and something else to get the hang of it. so I am not wasting flavor and vg.

If you are making a 100% VG juice sans whatever flavoring is being used then unless you add some distilled water you will find it to be wayyyy too thick to wick into atomizers properly.

A good rule of thumb for VG mixing with one or two flavors is to do what I call the 80%/20% rule. That being 80% is VG, and the other comprises flavoring and any other "dilutents" such as distilled water, alcohol, or additives like sucralose, lemon, dist vinegar etc.

So,in your case it would be 80%VG and 10% flavoring (if you choose to start there of course), and 10% distilled water. Without the distilled water it will not wick properly. I find 80%VG/20% everything else works perfect as far as wicking across any and all attys, tanks, cartos, etc.

The water will also help the flavor carry better in VG and you will find that you will normally not need the "signifigantly higher" percentages of flavor most people say VG juices need. I never adjust more than 2% higher in flavoring vs. comparitave high PG juices. Most often an additional 1% of flavor is enough.

I weaned myself off nic and now only vape 0 nic VG juices. Well, I have an 18mg nic juice for the bad days.

To make my VG base, I took 100% and diluted it with 100 proof vodka.
Here is the VG I used.
Here is the vodka I used. Just use any unflavored distilled 100 proof vodka.

I added 17.7 ml of vodka to the entire bottle of VG. This is for the EXACT same bottle above, the 6 fl oz humco 95% glycerin bottle. This is what I use for my base VG. As for the rest of the vodka, drink it! Everytime I mention VG, I am referring to the outcome of this mixture.

I bought a total of 20 of these 10 ml dropper bottles. IMO 5ml bottles are too small, 15 being too big. Then again, I vape about 2 ml a day and the juices I make doesn't need any steeping at all. I use a 2 ml syringe to transfer the liquids; 1 syringe per flavor.

To remove VG out of the bottle, I pour a small amount in a clean shotglass and then measure with a syringe from there. When you get to half way empty, it will be hard to fit a syringe in the VG bottle. If you want to be sophisticated and all fancy, check out this video. I've used all three before, but I recommend the syringe pump with the serological pipette because it is the easiest to use without spending too much. This and this. Or, go cheap and just buy a syringe or a cheap pipette here.

For flavoring, I usually do 90% VG and 10%-15% total flavoring. Taste is subjective, so you have to try it out yourself. That's where the tiny bottles come to play I'd say get atleast 5 different bottles so you can test a few different juices and let them steep simultaneously. My current go to vape is Rwhy4, RY4 asian, and Juicy Peach koolada. Taste is subjective, and these are what I have grown to love. Pretty much any fruit flavor + koolada (or menthol) wins in my book.

The 30ml bottles will be fine for you as you only have 2 flavors.. add 6 ml of your flavor, 1 ml distilled water and 23ml of the VG.. Shake for 3 minutes and vape..

Thanks all 3 of you, You guys really use distilled water ??? Is this safe? I mean the only thing I have ever used distilled water for was to go into my car battery.. I didn't know it was safe.

Yup it's safe.. distilled water is literally just straight water

How many ml's do you vape an hour? Vodka thins with less compared to water. Water and alcohol will have different effects on the feel of a vape, so you might want to see which works best for you.

The good thing about distilled water is that if you spill it on yourself and then head to the grocery store, the clerks won't give you weird looks. And as long as you're not wearing dry clean only wool, it's pretty harmless.

(A typical single drink the the US is about 37ml's of 80 proof, so at 5% you would need to vape 750ml's to get close to a single drink. And that's assuming that vaping alcohol has the same impact to the system as drinking it.)

where best place online to buy some? wanted to get a 10ml maybe a 5l bottle too. the store has no small ones

You could also ask a pharmacy.. I think a lot of them keep them behind the counter for insulin, you just gotta ask. I've gotten most of mine at Wizard Labs though, if that's easier.

well i looked.on amazon, they only had packs of like 10 really only need couple of em, not really sure what size dia. i need.

i mixed my first juice, used a messuring spoon a lil cup like.comes with.pepto. my.flavor needs a little more do you think i.should just add a few drops to my 30ml bottle? i used the method that got first page 23 ml vg 6ml flavor n 1ml.distrilled water.

believe you me, I will write everything down so when I get it right I will be able to do it again.

I got some 15ML bottles on the way, so would I just half everything I did before? or is it more detailed then that?

I will say I do use vodka from time to time but thats usually only to add some throat hit on vapes where they are very low nic content. Hoosier is right on though with his advice.

Im glad we can help but I also want to direct you to some of the stickies at the top of the diy threads. I know they may be a very long read but they were indespensible to me in helping me to learn the basics of mixing. By the time I was done reading them there were very few questions left unanswered. All that was left was to apply what I had learned... thats just patience and practice.
