Hello, i was wondering after getting a dry hit, can .... up your e liquid? because after the dry hit it taste the e liquid like burnt?

Also i have leaking problems with my subox, on the base where the airflow section is.

A Small Dry Hit or Two shouldn't effect the remaining e-Liquid in a Tank to much. If at all. Something that probably has a Greater effect on it is Constantly topping off the Tank with e-Liquids.

---

Is the leaking on the Outside of the Tank? (Most Likely a O-Ring Issue)

Or is it coming from Inside the Air Flow Chamber? (Most Likely a Wicking Issue)

I don't understand how wire gauge can be different for beginner or advanced. You use the wire, whatever gauge you need, to build your coil. If you want a 0.5ohm coil you should use 24 or 26g, if you want a 2ohm coil you should use 29g. If you want a 1.2 you should use 28g or 26g. It has nothing to do with skill level, just what you want to accomplish with it.
likely they are referring to some wire gauges being a little easier to work with initially as you get into building coils... 26/28 seem to be a bit easier to start off with than 22/24, imo

Just above the air flow chamber, not from the air flow holes. I think is the O-ring, how do i fix this problem? Dental floss under the o-ring helped but still leaking, and i read it may be a issue with the vertical Occ's. Switching to horizontal occ's or RBA would fix this problem i guess?

Definitely sounds like a O-Ring issue.

Have you tried Switching the O-Rings you are using for the Extra Ones that came with Tank?

Hello guys, i've been using the subox and it's again leaking, no matter how much dental floss i put under the o ring, the o ring belly is toward the glass. Also i'm getting dry hit flavour everytime, no matter how many time i rebuild the coils, i wick it very good, still getting burnt flavour. I'm so frustrated. I didn't like the subox thing. If i have to buy another tank i will. I always get .6 ohms which is normal. what i should do?

I'm using the kantal that came with the kit, its to thin, that's the best i could do it. I try stuff it with lots of cotton, this time with not that much cotton. I tried the OCC heads and it's the same, not much flavour and a little burnt hits. Weird because the first time that i use the RBA head and came with an already builded resistance i just stuff it with cotton and worked like wonder. Lot's of flavour and no dry hits.

It looks like you might be using Too Much Cotton. Hard to tell from a Picture. You might try using a Tad Less to see if that Helps.

BTW - What Ohms is your Build? .6 Ohms?

And How Many Watts are you hitting it at ?

.6 ohms, 36 watts. How i check that?

Do what markcfh said.

But I would turn the Watts down to 10 or so when you do this kind of "Dry Firing".

It should turn Red Evenly. Starting from the Center of the Coils and the Moving outward.

If you OVER-TIGHTEN any portion of your system where there is an o-ring located then you stand a chance of leaks. I was on another forum where that was a common leaking problem that was pointed out by the veterans of the forum. Whenever the people started to not over-tighten their parts, then the leaks stopped. Over-tightening parts damages the o-rings and they don't last very long. Also, if you over-tighten your coil head assembly you will get leaks there as well.

I don't know, still getting burnt flavour. Even with the OCC coils. Can you guys recommend me another good rebuildable tank that won't leak?

You do realize that as soon as you burn the cotton once. You will forever get a burnt taste after that. Start low, back off if it is starting to seem like dryer hits.. All this before you burn the cotton. Once it is burnt. You have to throw the pre-made coil out, or re wick the rba section. No other way to get rid of burnt taste.
