Please help, my brand new mac wont connect to my eVic!!!

Hey everyone. I just received my eVic in the mail today! The issue that I'm having is that I only have a Mac, but its a brand spankin new iMac and I can't upgrade my firmware from 1.1 that came on the device because my computer won't recognize my eVic! I tried reinstalling MVR and switching USB ports on the computer and neither worked. Can someone PLEASE help me?! Thanks.

Try MVR 1.2 for Mac?
Contact joyetech with your operating system version.
Borrow a friend PC

Unfortunately the only consistent thing about Mac is platform inconsistency. To many variations and subsystem modifications from software installations.

It worked!!!!! So I thought that since when I pushed get data from eVic and it said 0 that meant that it wasn't reading the device. Not the case. Pushed Upgrade and it worked flawlessly! this thing ROCKS!!!

Good to know! Lol. Its my first day with the eVic and I'm really enjoying it so far. One concern I have is that I have a 2000 mah Efest 18650 in it and the battery meter says 33% right now but its only been in there since like 11 am and I'm not that heavy of a vape... I'm guessing the battery meter isn't as accurate as it should be since I DID customize it in the menu for a 2000 mah battery. Any suggestions?

Yep, check what output you are running. Also what type battery it is.
Higher outputs drain faster.
Cheaper batteries drain faster.

ICR and IMR seem to hold up best. I am using Panasonic CGR18650CH hybrids @ 2250mah Avg full day of use or more.
