hi guys, I'm reasonably new to vaping and I've been vaping for about 6 months or so. Last night I had my vape (smok TFV8 big baby beast) in my pocket and I messed orange juice all over myself, somehow the orange juice got inside my mouthpiece and into the tank and as you can imagine my vape completely stopped creating smoke and tasted awful. I tried to rinse it out but that didn't help, I changed the coil to a slightly used on and rinsed it out again TWICE and it still has an awful cotton, orangey taste and tastes nothing like the flavour. I have no idea how to fix this!!! Please help!!!

Howdy and welcome :)
In your position I would remove the atomizer from the tank (it unscrews), take the tank apart and wash the pieces. You may need to replace the o-rings as well. Here’s a video of how to take it apart

Was it really smoke or vapor? Did any juice get inside of your mod?

Any liquid that can make contact with the electrical components of the mod, 510 connection, or battery contacts could cause an electrical hard short. All of these components must be completely cleaned with isopropal alcohol and allowed to dry before turning on/firing the mod again.

Rubbing alcohol is fine just rinse it VERY thoroughly. Good luck, hope you are able to get that tank back up and running.

I agree that if there is even the possibility that juice got into the mod, take the batteries out, and see if you can find any sticky stuff, if so wash well (you can use rubbing alcohol as well if you desire) and then make sure the batteries are wiped down before trying to use the mod again.
