Ok i need someone to please help me and show me how to install this regulator to make my mod 5v . I would appreciate a diagram I do best with an actual diagram its easier for me to follow here is my existing wiring and the regulator i want to use thank you so much for your help

this regulator has to pins (one Vin and one Vout) and a plate on the back that is the ground...
i believe this would work...
5v.jpg (made a small changes to the last diagram)
pretty sure it would work... but i has never used one of these...
can someone back this up or say im wrong?

I can't show you, but disconnect the LED from the switch, connect out of switch to p1 (left as shown) on regulator connect p3 (right as shown) to atty also p3 to 470Ω resistor and led, add 10uF capacitor between p1 and ground(p2) as well as 10uF capacitor between p3 and ground (p2) connect p2 to battery neg(-) and it should work.

Looks good to me, the caps help to prevent power leaking when off, with the LED after the switch they aren't as necessary, but I still like using them. It also helps to prevent the LED from working as a solar cell.

hmmm... i always thought a master switch takes care of that problem... added the led just in case you know lol :D
