I recently purchased Kamry K200 and was advised to get rid of tank and switch to Nova tanks! In meantime while waiting I think tank has leaked juice down through the unit! Result: Battery now seems to immediately discharge and wont hold charge thus unit wont fire! :( (Im only surmising that this is cause!) Is there a way to dry out or get inside unit to fix problem or is it case of throwing a brand new unit away!

Ah. Isnt the battery removable from the unit? Battery may have shorted and be junk now as well.
Also if there is juice in it, I have heard people having luck cleaning the unit (battery removed) with highest percentage alchohol you can find and letting it dry for at least 24 hours before trying device again. Completely soak the device in the alchohol to get the juice off all the electronic parts.

The alcohol....is Isopropyl Alcohol 91 or higher % available from pharmacy in most countries (that's the most common recommendation...but IDK about that mod).

Of course, remove the battery 1st.

If you suspect the battery cell is bad...DON'T USE IT. Dispose of it and use a new one. If it's not a removable battery....I'd be doubly cautious about using that.

A mod shouldn't get juice in it from just leaking around the connector (small amounts). However, if juice poured all over it....good luck.

Make sure you let the alcohol evaporate away completely.

Also, check for vendor/manufacturer recommendations before following any random advice.

hahaha...yeah... thanks for the tips people! Im kinda thinking for the sake of 50 odd bucks I might be better off just ordering another! I was blowing air up through device and spots of oil were still coming out through buttons and lcd screen! damn! Dunno whether to stick with Kamry now or source a different model?

Maybe get something different. The Kamry K200 looks nice but won't fire below 3.7 volts. You can set it below 3.7 volts but it won't fire below 3.7 volts. I'd recommend getting something that has the proper sort of range of variable voltage and variable wattage.
