Hi everyone
i just bought vaporflask stout 100w by wismec..look like adorable mod..like it very much..but i got a little problem here..when i push fire button (firing). The resistence is always jump ( moving ) for example when i dont fire it the resistance is 0.5 ohm..but when i fired the resistance become 0.6 0r 0.7 even 0.2, kinda stressed up here..
can anyone help me how to solve this??

The Stout is a TC mod. If you are using it in TC mode with TC wire, it would be normal for the coil resistance to vary with firing. That's how the mod tells the temp of the wire.

I use nichrome wire..so i set to wattage mode..and the resistance still vary

That sounds like a loose wire in the atomizer. Do you have a separate ohms meter? If you do, check the atomizer on it and see if the resistance is fluctuating there as well.

I have 2 tanks and 1 rda..i set all of them on vf stout its always got ohm jump..but if i set them to the others mod..all is normal..no ohm jump ( no vary resistance when firing)

If your resistance is changing that much on this mod, and not changing with the same tanks/rda in another mod, the first place to look for the problem is the mod. Then again, not all mods show resistance change in real time when they fire.

I would contact the folks you bought the mod from and let them know what is happening. They should be able to help you with either troubleshooting advice or a warranty claim.

I think the issue is within the 510 connection and sometimes this issue can create fluctuations in power to the atty. If it is the connection, and you can adjust the pin on your tank, you might be able to stabilize it. I think it's the 510 connection where it connects to the wires below and think this connection is might be wonky. This happens on one of my mods when the tanks pin is extended too much , I think this presses the mods pin down too far and causing issues. Or its just a bad 510 Connector period and doesn't make great contact with tank

Well if it's definitely that, then absolutely. If you are using a few different tanks and they all are wonky , then I would. Ok so resistance is jumping but is there any I'll effects to it? Is the vape suffering or is the power cutting? See in mine, the resistance jump sometimes causes a jump of power into the tank because it's reading a jump up in resistance. This sometimes is soo great it can singe the cotton . This , at least for me, only happens in this one mod and it so happens, that this is the only non authenric dna mod I own. I'm sure it can happen to any, but at least for me, I will personally spend for an authentic, and never by a chinese devise again. Mine has got worse and I don't even use it anymore but it's not the same mod as yours and from what I heard, the wisemec is a good device. So again, why is this an issue? Is it messing up in temp mode as well? I think if it's just showing a slight resistance change and nothing else , meaning everything is vaping fine, then at least for me , is not a problem. I do have a dna 40, that is in wattage mode and as it fires, the resistance changes ever so slightly, but it doesn't hurt anything , and at rest it's consistent, yes it may be a slight connection thing but it works perfect and it doesn't bother me. Can you set to vv mode? If so does it still happen?

I Just adjusted a few tank pins and if a 510 tank pin is not making a perfect connection, the resistance does Slightly fluxuate. My positive pins adjust on most of my tanks so it can be dialed in even if the mods pin is floating. At least with one of mine (that's non adjustable ) the slight fluxuation doesn't affect anything. Now that one mod I have that's really bad, has just a bad 510 connection period, which fluxuates soo much, it affects the power going in. If your tanks positive pin is adjustable, try dialing it in , if not, and the vape is no different, I wouldn't worry about it. If you feel like it's an issue and you feel the vape suffering, try the warranty deal. I know you probably do, but the connections need to be cleaned on a regular bases (most do anyways)
