I just purchased a istick pico and am looking for a rebuildable tank that is:

1. easy to rebuild
2. can utilize the same coils that I DIY-ed for a uwell crown (single coil with 6-7 loops)
3. meant for flavor

The reason why I listed the coils for uwell crown is because I have a primary mod that uses the uwell crown and I wanted to be able to share the single coils of 6-7 loops with both RTAs' (or do all RTAs take the same coil?)

Thanks!

Try the Kayfun Lite V2 or the Kayfun V3.1. You might also like the Squape (R)eloaded.

Google search for those and you'll find some deals. You can likely find either for $15 or less. Since cloud vaping and high watt vaping have become popular the older flavor tanks have dropped in popularity and price. That's good for those of us who still like MTL vaping.

Since your previous will be the crown rba and want flavor I would say Kayfun v5 - The SJMY Kayfun V5 is great (and only $25). Better quality then my lemo2s. I run a ss316l 26g 3mm id spaced 6 wrap at ~0.43ohms in it. It has a little less space than the lemo2 which i fit a 24g 3mm id spaced 8 wrap.

I like it enough that its in the rotation. It gets a provari compatible build of 28g 3mm id spaced 8 wrap for about 0.93ohms. Never had an issue with the coil ends shorting on the barrel but I clip them carefully (youtube reviews generally mention this). Good build quality, simple design, easy to wick (cotton or rayon), and I've had no leaking. But even at a higher ohm build on 18-20Watts on the provari, I still feel I have to fill it up too often. Lower build at higher wattage would make that even worse.

I 2nd that, I have 3 SXK Kayfun V5 and two of the mini's, really liking them. Excellent build quality, simple to build on and great flavor.

Would you recommend the SXK Kayfun V5 or the V5 mini version for use with the istick Pico?

I am assuming the coils between both V5 and the mini version are the exact same?

Either would be fine, I actually like the mini better. They're the same except the mini has a shorter tank and drip tip.

toptank mini is a single coil build and will fit, the protank 4 is a dual coil build and yes you can use the same style for both. I really recommend Clapton as the wire for them, more flavour.

Kanger TOPTANK-MINI clearomizer
Kanger Protank-4 clearomizer

I build on both, since they are both 22mm, you know the limits are pretty much the same.

Any coils will work in an rta as long as they physically fit. Sure, some coils require a lot of power which might not be ideal for some mtl tanks, but generally rtas don't take only a particular type of coil.

I'd look at older Kayfuns before you buy that. Tiny screw on bottom for filling, filling is messy. The airflow is nothing like a crown unless you cut most of it off. I'd go with the TopTank Mini or SubTank Mini if you want something comparable or Griffin, OBS Crius if you want the best available today. PT4 or KFun5 good options as well. If you must go with older kayfun the Monster is a good tight DTL vape but still has the horrible filling set up.
