For those that have started with nicotine and tapered off, or started with higher levels and tapered down, what has that been like?

Where did you start, what schedule did you taper down, and where are you now?

How did you feel when you switched to a lower level? Does it take a while to get used to it? Do you vape as much 0 as you did with nic?

I plan to get to 0 nic. I have a sample pack of CaSH 24 Im getting through now. I also have an 18mg JC sample pack and a 16mg 10ml bottle of CaSH. Before I was kind of interchanging them, one day I'll take a bottle of 24 to work, one day 16. So far I havent really noticed a difference in how i feel between those levels.

I've decided I should be more methodical about it so now I'm trying to finish 24 and then move on to the 18. I have some 11 on order.

I'm trying to get an idea of what other people went through on their journey to nicotine free. Please share =)

Thanks!
Abby

I've tapered down from 18 mg. It's like switching from full strength analogs to lights and then to ultra-lights. You puff harder & longer, you try to inhale more, you can't understand why (although you do KNOW why) you're not feeling it as much. You feel antsy, panicky. It takes a couple of days, at least for me it did, to get used to the lower nic level. It took some will-power to get through.

Once I hit 4mg nic (I diluted 8mg w/ 50% vg) my appetite increased dramatically! I gained 15 lbs in 3 weeks, for real. BUT, that has now started to taper off also and my appetite is leveling back out. Instead of eating 7 slices of pizza (I'm not even kidding) I eat only 3-4. My norm was about 2. So it's getting there.

I'm now down to 0 nic and have been for a couple of weeks. It's nice. Good luck to you all! :)

EDIT: I do keep a bottle of 14 & 11mg liquids for those just in case moments when I feel I need the nicotine.

I'm currently down to 11mg juice and 0 mg soon. I find that I smoke more if I don't get a killer throat hit and lots of vaper. Guess I'm more addicted to the oral fixation part.

When I first started... I tried to get the highest possible nicotine content. I was afraid I wouldn't feel the nicotine. But do you really even feel a nicotine rush from analogs? Not really if you were a chain smoke like myself.

When I was on the 24mg and 36mg, I would experience dizziness and headaches. There was a few times when I vaped so much I had to take a nap during work from the dizziness. My atomizer was crappin out so I kept taking drags hoping to get more vapor.

After that incident, I knew I had to lower the nicotine content so that I would never have to go through that again.

So.... Now that I using 11mg... I can vape as much as I want without getting headaches or dizziness.

Hope that helps! Sorry long post...
