WE PETITION THE OBAMA ADMINISTRATION TO:

Recognize electronic cigarettes as an effective alternative to smoking and support job creation in this new industry.

Electronic cigarettes have just begun to capture the attention of the American public, 24% of whom are regular cigarette smokers. This new technology has shown promise in reducing the adverse health effects associated with smoking, while delivering an experience that can satisfy the cravings which make quitting so difficult. It's no secret that smoking accounts for nearly $100 billion dollars in healthcare costs annually- not to mention the productivity lost when smokers fall ill or pass away due to smoking related diseases. The administration's support for this emerging technology would pave the way for reducing the societal costs of smoking, while creating jobs in a new sector which has grown significantly in the past two years. Support job creation and deficit reduction by signing now!

There are THOUSANDS of vapers here!!! Right now, at 8:00 in the morning, there are 1000 people on line as I type this.

There is no reason that we can't come up with 5000 signatures in a month!

PLEASE re-post this thread EVERYWHERE you like to hang out... All of your favorite vendors forums, every where you can start a thread, start this one. Why not? This is the approach that should be taken every time an ecig related petition needs to be signed! Most people don't go poking around looking for petitions, who visits the index and reads the announcements in a forum this huge? Put it in everybody's reach, and they will sign it. Or, they are a crappy selfish vaper, that doesn't care if vaping goes extinct... That is all.

Honestly, the only thing stopping me is the fact I have to register to create an account. Maybe what's holding me & others back. I hate having to sign up for something especially when it goes to something government related. Damn, I feel so paranoid but I better start reading those agreement terms. I do intend to support this though. Good post Monarch.

Good point, but I'd probably check em all for the heck of it.....

Just a question, is CASAA on board with this on their site?

Clenching Fist in Defiance!!! #1051

OOOPS!! In support!!!
