The plum veil should be able to read the ohms on the sigelei right? Thank you

Er, you got that a little mixed up.

The Sigelei should be able to read the ohms on your Plume Veil, yes. Just make sure the ohms are staying consistent -- if they're jumping around it's very likely you have a short somewhere. Always be aware of the voltage/wattage you're firing at. It's always better to start off lower and work your way up to the sweet spot, rather than trying to find the "highest wattage" you can comfortably vape on.

... and if you have a short, it has a chance of frying the chip in your mod. That's why I always use a relatively inexpensive ohm meter to check things before putting my RDAs on my mods.

I actually haven't heard of this happening specifically on Sigelei devices (not saying it's not possible -- it's DEFINITELY possible). I have heard it happening with Cloupour devices though.

I'm hoping that the Sigelei chips have some kind of diode that'll prevent you from attempting to pull more than 20A from the batteries/through the chip -- though I wouldn't bank on it. It's probably a good idea to check your build with more than one ohm meter before you go ahead and fire 'er up.
