I have a plume veil rda on my istick 50w. I keep burning my cotton and obviously it's not making it an enjoyable experience and I can't find a good wattage. Also I'm kinda new at the whole dripping thing so I didn't know where to start at anyway. I started at 35 watts and my istick is .7 ohms. Help me please. Thanks

I agree im at about 20-25 watts for the same resistance. ( different atty though)
Thanks for helping me. I went to 15 after I replaced coils and wicks and 15 wasn't a whole of vapor so I jumped to 20. Worked perfectly and no burnt cotton.
Some of the issue may be in the kind of coil you are using and how you are wicking it. Micro and nano coils are much smaller, so the heat is much more concentrated. Also, if there isn't enough cotton going through the coil, it may be causing the coil to glow and collapsing your wick.
Youll get it. Rba's take a little time to get comfortable with.

I built my first coil/wick the day before yesterday on a Plume Veil. I don't like it. They say to wash it first and I didn't and I'm getting a machine oil taste. Also, it is leaking a lot out thru the air holes. I just don't like dripping, I guess. I haven't gotten the swing of when to add more juice. It seems like drippers would work well to sample multiple juice flavors. Am I right in thinking this? Also, there's one thing puzzling me.. When you drip juice down the drip tip, it's landing on the screws, I'm sure. Should there be cotton on top of the screws? Do you think if I fill the whole tank with more cotton (very loosely of course) it will reduce leakage? Is it bad to have cotton on or against the screws? Silly question, I know but I'm a perfectionist. Kept making coils too perfect. I'm a jewelry maker and have no problem making them perfect. LoL. Thanks much. I think this is my 3rd post. Well, I'm getting there.
