Hey new to the forum. still trying to explore.

the question i have will probably help other noobs along with give me answers for myself.

im trying to figure out what makes a quality rda.

welded neg posts? machined?
what makes the most secure clamp to your coil?

does a 22m rda have a longer post to post length? or does that just depend on each device?

i don't consider airflow as a viable attribute to the design. i mean... if it doesnt have adjustable air flow then i can just drill out the holes to my own liking right?

usually what i look for is deck size, depth of the juice well, ability to do single and dual coil. quad options aren't needed for my builds but they are great to have that ability encase you progress your build style.

i personally never cared about airflow control but after getting a trident clone. I wont go any other route, in fact i have 2 more on their way now. being able to adjust on the fly is great. some juices i like when the coil is cooler so its wide open air flow, others the hotter coil of a smaller coil is nicer.

the 22mm is circumference of the rda, 18xxx mods usually are 22mm or 23mm in diameter so it will let you know how well the rda will line up with the top of the mod.

I don't think there's an absolute answer to your question as it doesn't account for the person using it, which I think is most important. For someone new to an RDA, it might be a simple design with a wide deck. For someone more advanced, it could be creative coil options, dual+ coil or any number of different things that might attract a person to a particular RDA. Adjustable airflow might be desired by someone who wants to be able to adjust their experience per juice or even per session. Most of it's about the features, performance and/or price you might want, or maybe even the status/ego boost in some cases. Build quality certainly contributes to the "quality" of the device, and is important...who really wants a crummy RDA? If it's not good, people won't recommend it and it probably won't gain traction.
