My kangertech evod light won't turn

You click it 5 times? Does it need to be charged? What happens when you plug it into the charger?

The light blinks a few times when I charge it then about an hour after charging it is unplug it and the light doesn't glow

It may need more than an hour charge if it's completely depleted.

Sometimes with those types of devices we think they are off and click 5 times to turn them on, when we really are turning them off. Just throwing that out there.

That's not the problem because I have box mod vape and works fine but my kangertech evod isn't working

Oh, ok, I hear ya. The tank is not working. Sounds like the pin is pushed in to far. Not making a connection.

I am not sure if the pin is pushed in too far or not

You will see a round disc in the center of this end. This is the center post. Use a thumb tack, paperclip or similar object. Stick it in between the center post and the battery threads and gently raise the center post.

That's what it sounds like, your tank is not making a connection with your battery. Happens more often than you think.

Red light = charging....should leave it on the charger until the light turns green.

If still nothing....then Bonskibon is correct it is not making a connection. Take the tank off. If you have already lifted the center post on the mod, then look at the very bottom of cartomizer tank where the connection(pin) is. If it has a slit running though it like the top of a screw try turning it a little to the left. The object is to lower it but not pull it out. If the cartomizer has a smooth bottom that does not look like a screw, see if you can pull that little plate down a little to help the connection meet.

Local Vape Shop -----Might be simple.
Vendor who sold it ---see if they will repair or replace or advise.
