I want that mech, I've wanted it for a couple years now, but they are out of parts for the Aname, that being the one I want. I've asked them to let me know when they have them again, but that could be a while. They are focusing now on their new box mod, those being the current trend in the market, and a business in Greece today has to be competitive, I get that.

So now I'm wrestling with the urge to just get one of the brass Poldiac Classics. I really wanted stainless tubes to match up with my attys and the brass accents but I might not be able to get that for a while, if ever. So my cursor is hovering over the Uma on their web page, clicks away from sending it my way, but should I hold out for what I really want? Arggh!

Maybe I should just buy the Uma now, and the Aname later when they have it again. The Uma is on sale... What would you do?

I saw it was the last Uma left and pulled the trigger. Now they show it out of stock. Whew! That was close. I may well have gotten the last one they will ever make.

I have to wonder if MMV isn't going full box mod. All their tube mods are on sale and they told me they are concentrating on their new box mod.

Well I got my Poldiac finally, and my DID is also on the way from them.

Of course I need a new mod :)

I always need a new mod.

More will pop up in a few days. It's not the last.

Got my Poldiac Uma this morning, vaping on it now. It's heavy, and I like that. It hits hard, and I like that too. It's pretty, which is nice. It's tall, and if you put a tall atty on it that thing is a real baton. You could stun a steer with it. Now I get what someone else said about short mods.

One thing: The button doesn't always fire or sometimes fires weak, and I have to hunt around on it to get it to fire right. Don't like that so much. If you don't push it down in there just right it doesn't fire. Hmmmm....

I know what you mean. I bought a full size Poldiac (18650), and a shorty Poldiac (18500). I liked both of them... when they actually hit well. But that was so rare that after a day or so of frustration I went back to my SMPL. Both Poldiacs are back in the box gathering dust. I guess I'll keep them just in case old reliable explodes or something.. :)

I get that, but only if it's due for cleaning, and that solves the problem. Yours being new I would guess that there may be some dirt or grit in the switch on one of the contacts. If and when you decide to tear into the switch, do so carefully for the first time or two until you are familiar with how things go back together. There are vids on MM's site. Having the plastic switch aligning tool helps in getting the switch lined up in the hole.
I clean the switch parts by soaking the metal pieces in some baking soda and water, and scrubbing a bit with a toothbrush, then rinsing real good, just don't drop em, they are small and will go down a drain real quick. :).
These may seem a little fiddely, but like anything else, they do need some maintenance occasionally. A clean Poldi is an excellent hitting device.

About the previously mentioned button issue with my new Poldiac, it seems to have worked itself out over time. Now it takes just a light touch with my thumb to fire it. I do find that the top pin is a bit tricky, and does not stay put when you take the atty off and put it back on, which is the same issue I have with my Roller. Could be a Greek thing.

Anyway, I'm going to order a second Poldiac, this time the Aname, if and when it comes back into stock. BTW, I've tried my new Origen Genesis V2 on both my new Poldiac and my new Roller, and the Roller fires it pitifully compared to the Poldiac. I'm beginning to regret buying that Roller.

I show all sizes of the Aname in stock ( five each of the 18350 and 18650, four of the 18500).
Poldiac Aname Sleek • MMVapors

I'm anxiously awaiting the arrival of a Belial Classic.

Yeah, see, I don't want the sleek I want the classic, and the Aname Classic is not even on their site anymore. I'm bummed. I don't think it's coming back. BTW, looking at the Belial Classic, it looks exactly like my Uma Classic, and I can't see any difference.

Sad to say, but it would seem to have transpired that the Poldiac has made the rest of my mechs obsolete. The combination of the Poldi with my new Origin Genesis V2 constitutes the very finest vape of my life, and the rest of my collection cannot in any meaningful way compare, or even come close. What a bummer I had to spend all that money before arriving at this vape.

Unfortunately, sometimes, it takes awhile to get a hold of the devices that really do it for us.

I know, RIGHT??? But here sits all those mechs and gennies I spent all that money on, and now I can't even bring myself to use them. It's pointless. And it's not just the Poldiac, it's that Origin Genesis V2 on top of it. That thing blows away every other genny I have.

I still have a genny coming in the mail and I don't even care when it gets here now.

There isn't much of a difference - the Uma has polished SS parts whereas the Belial has satin SS parts.

It occurs to me they could come up with the Poldiac Uma Thurman, with Poldiac in Japanese on the bottom cap. Not much difference there either, but not much is needed to declare a new model I guess.
