I am buying either one of the tomorrow and I need experts answers.. I have been diggin' Poldiac since the size matches perfect with my Ithaka atty (23 mm). But this The King mod looks somehow very attractive. And it also KILLED Chi-You in voltage drops. What should I get? Or just save more money and go for El Kapitan by Wu Tang?

If it's something you plan on using a lot, I would take a hard look at the Poldiac, MM seams to have a steady supply of spare parts available, as well as mods and accessories. It's cool to have a rare boutique mod, but without a steady supply of springs, contacts ect. It would suck to have $200 mod sidelined for want of a 2 dollar spring. I haven't vaped either but I got to fondle both. Both of them were very nice and solid mods. The only thing that kind of bugged me was the logo on the king was inconsistently etched, it was deep on one side and then got really shallow on the other. I know kind of nit picky, but for $230, I would expect better.

I can't offer any info about the King. I haven't seen one. It's basically a Chi You clone. But I can vouch for the Poldiac. I have two of them. You won't be disappointed. MM Vapors is a great company to deal with. Spare parts are pretty available, customer support is fantastic, and the mod itself is top notch.

I would pick my Poldiac if I had to chose one mechanical only. Silver connections top button are great! Cosmetically speaking you have options to change with out buying the whole mod.
I do not have a king but I do have lots of high end bottom fire mods and I just like the Poldiac Its only down side is its pretty involved breaking down the switch and cleaning. So if you want simplicity go for the King. If you dont mind spending a few minutes extra when cleaning time comes around Youll be happy with the Poldiac

I love how a high end mod like Poldiac is readily available, unlike most of the other mods on the same class. But I am not a big fan of it's styling, specifically the cut outs on the rings and on the shirt, it gives me the versace/greek links image, a little too old school for my liking.

yeah exactly. Poldiac has too many cuts here and there looks really... cheap? I have read countless good reviews tho...

I think this is what sets it apart cosmetically from other mods not just the same old battery tube with a button. But I can see your point when you make something with a certain styling to it some people will not care for it. Beauty in the eye of the beholder kind of thing.

Seems your down to form factor you have picked two very well made mods. Do you want a top switch very styled mod or a simple but elegant tube with a bottom switch.
I say get both and another atty for each then you have something for every mood.;-) I think youll be happy with ether of them. It might be just as easy to flip a coin.
