Any word yet on when they might release the polished SS provari and mini? From what little I've been able to find on it, it looks like it isn't chrome but actually polished stainless steel. Perhaps there is someone more "in the know"?

I understand that you did that with a sand blaster and some tools I may not have access to. I've got 220, 400, 800, 1500, and 2000 grit sand paper but I'd be a little afraid to attempt sanding one.

I have the Satin Silver Provari V2.5. I'm not sure if you are talking about this one but this is actually shinier than I thought it would be. I think from what you posted though you may be talking about a different one?
i wouldn't try it with sandpaper.
