I have heard that it is...
Super-shiney, but yes to fingerprints.

The Satin, on the other hand, is by all accounts the finish that will stay looking new the longest...and if it got all scratched up, I suppose you could polish it!

Quick question. Is the polished stainless Provari finish a real fingerprint magnet? Thanks!

I thought it was. It's the only ProVari I have traded away, but that was more due to it being waaay too shiny for me. The pro for this finish is that if it scratches (which it will, it gets whorls) it can be easily buffed back to it original shine. Personally, I could never see myself doing that. I love my satin silvers.

The fingerprints and slidy-ness finally put me over the edge yesterday so I brushed my polished 2.5. 320 grit wet/dry sandpaper and about 5 minutes of elbow grease was all it took.

The body used to be as glossy as the pro-ring. I was going to brush the pro-ring also, but I like the way it makes the indented logo and engravings pop.

I love my polished mini. I don't notice a fingerprint problem, and I like the way it looks and feels. I do wipe it down most every morning with a microfiber cloth and polish it about once a month to get rid of any little surface scratches. I like the Satin Silver just as well, it looks great and feels great too.

I have 2 & don't think they're as bad as they've been made out to be in the past. 1 goes out with me & has developed typical microscratching that's common with polished stainless that could be easily buffed out if I was concerned about it. The other doesn't leave my desk & gets polished every day to keep that deep flawless shine... just because I can.

I just love polished stainless & they're definitely the easiest to bring back to that fresh from the factory look with a little polishing work. It's a personal preference thing. Some people just don't like them for how they feel in your hand. They're a little different than the CeraKote models.

I suppose it all depends how greasy my hands are, and they're never that greasy at all. So i don't see any prints. And honestly, WHO CARES REALLY ?. Huh !!!.. It's not like i've committed a crime and i need to wipe it clean is it !. So i don't know about anyone else but i'm not seeing any prints. Way i see it is other finishes can get damaged but the bare metal finish can be kept looking like new. Well unless It gets dented, dropped, knocked about etc. I only use mine at home and i haven't dropped it or anything yet.
