all,
pulled the trigger on a 5GVapes ice spiders mech that's made of copper with a really nice shine (also takes a 20700!). none of my other mechs have a finish like this...
stock image...more pics when it arrives. any of you have any tips on polishing something like this to keep it looking tip top?
which polish? manual or with a jig? brasso? paste?
appreciate any info you can share.

I can’t see the pic, but assuming it’s a copper mod, use Mother’s Mag...a large tin of that will last you forever. That & a couple microfiber cloths will have you set for a long time
thanks for that. i hadn't heard of it and thought it might just be a US thing but i see it on amazon UK. added to basket along with some cloths.

This is my actual routine for deep cleaning my gear which I do "maybe" ever other month.
  • Few min's in Ultrasonic
  • Rub down with Wrights Copper Creme (or Brass, Silver as designated)
  • Rinse with water and dry
  • Touch up with Sunshine Cloth
  • Apply Deoxit Gold to threads and contacts
This keeps all my mods in top performing and looking shape. For daily maintenance I'll wipe down with damp cloth and maybe touch up with Sunshine Cloth.
