Haven't done a poll before, hope this works...

Please respond if you know how many mg of nicotine you vape per day. ML x mg = daily total

Examples:
3ML of 12mg: 3x12=36
2ML of 6mg + 1ML of 12mg = 12 + 12 = 24
1ML of 36mg + 2ML 12mg: 1 x 36 + 2 X 12 = 36 + 24 = 60mg
3ML of 36mg = 108mg
6ML of 12mg = 72mg

Well, i measured around 30 drops make 1ml(using RD bottles).
I smoke roughly around 10 drops of 18mg & 10 drops of 24mg.
So that would make it 14mg of nic a day.
Plus some analogs - maybe around 5/6 - am not off analog completely.
Was originally smoking around 15-20 analogs a day.
So the total would probably be in the 15-20 mg range.

About 78mg a day. Those of you vaping less than that you might as well just go to straight zero nic liquids because your not really giving your body any nicotine worth mentioning. We only absorb a very small fraction of the nicotine from vaping compared to an analog.

I'd like to know where you got this fact from.

It is plain as day. I have said it since the very first day I started vaping that we do not absorb the nicotine from the vapor nearly as good as we do from an analog. The only time I can even tell I am getting any nicotine is when I use 36mg and vape for 30+ minutes non stop on my puresmoker passthrough. And I was only a pack a day marlboro menthol light smoker. It all adds up to me now that the study was done and others are sharing the same experiance as I have had.

So? There's clearly enough nicotine to stave off nicotine withdrawal and replace cigarettes, else nobody would be able to quit with them. Plus, we only absorb a fraction of nicotine in cigarettes as well, if we absorbed 100% of it then after 3 cigarettes we'd be dead. The reason you don't feel anything compared to analogs is because it isn't absorbed as fast - a problem I think is being worked on.

I really don't want that to be "worked on"! That's what the tobacco companies did to get us where we are. They added other chemicals to increase the response, increase the addiction. I like just nicotine.

Sometimes I vape to vape.. sometimes I vape to satisfy "something". I stay at a pretty consistant 3ML a day. Sometimes, I "Juice" it up a bit.

Less than 1ml per day of 6ml juice at this point.
I stick with the same rules I used when smoking, which means only outside on breaks.

Good for you! These offer the opportunity to increase our usage... and dependance just by the flexibility that they offer. I don't think I am using any more than before but I can see how it could happen.

You don't know how much we absorb, and you can't tell anyone else how much nicotine they need/want/desire/crave.
You sound like the Anti-smoker crowd saying "Well, just quit".

Interesting.....i used to smoke 30 analogs a day. i switched to ecigs 3 days ago. i use the 36mg nicotine cherry and i only vape when the cravings hit and then i hit it about the same amount of puffs that i would for 1 analog. my cravings go away and i put the thing down until the next craving....so its psychological? I dont think so. I have tried to quit using the patch and gum and everything else on the market but im soooo addicted, plus i enjoy smoking but i hate the smell and the health issues associated with analogs. I dont know why but I cant understand where your comming from. I would imagine its different for everyone.

To give you an example. I just went to dinner then to my sister in-laws to help her with something and I forgot my e-cig. I am craving a smoke so bad right now and my 36mg for the last 5 minutes is doing absolutely nothing for me yet. I am fidgety and may end up going out to smoke if this doesnt go away shortly.
