I PERSONALLY just got my forst V.V last week..... Tried it with a few of my juices ranging from 4v to 6v and didn't really knock my socks off. However that being said after I tried it my wife uses it NON STOP at 4.5v. She however can only use 100% VG (flavorings included) due to a high allergies to PG. So the warmer vapor gives her more TH in her opinion. So for me it turns out my sweet spot is 3.7 wife's looks to be around 4.5. To each their own I reckon!

With using batteries I have 3.7, 5, 6, 7.4 volts covered not sure what I would gain with VV, I know they are nice just not sure what I would gain.

Many people find that the ability to change the voltage/power to TUNE in the hit and flavor is the reason , juices change flavor at different voltages . Using a LR atty increases the Power and does somewhat of the same thing but with out the control .

I've never paid more than $10 for a six pack of beer. Just not a connoisseur of beer and I suspect one would have to be somewhat the vaping equivalent to make it worth the extra money for a VV so you could make those fine adjustments between 3.2, 3.7, 4.2, 5, 6, 7.4, or whatever can be obtained from different battery configurations. I am learning which juices go better with SR and which go with LR.

For me, a solid performing 18650 with an 808, 510, 306, 801, or 901 (SR & LR when available) provides lots of variety and an all day vape on a single battery.

On the other hand, if I had unlimited funds, there is no question I'd have several variable voltage mods in my arsenal by now, LOL. I just recently got my P18, which blew my PV budget for a while. It is capable of HV. But, I won't persue that immediately (if at all), because it's great with LR attys.
:)
The Eclipse eq will likely be my first VV PV. I should be able to set aside the funds by the time it is available. But, VV is only one of many of its features which appeal to me.

I have not tried variable voltage yet, although I might some day.

I really don't need it as I am happy with my 18650 battery at 3.7v with standard 2.2ohm 510 atomizers.
That along with my 14500 batteries in my Bartleby for nights out is really covering all my bases.

But that doesn't mean I can't benefit from variable voltage, although I am not interested in stacking batteries.
That is why the ProVari is really appealing to me, but still I don't need it.

However, if someone came out with boosted 14500 model, I would probably break down and buy it.

i just looked around the corner, all i saw was the mailman and a half eaten sandwich ...

He is lurking , he knows you are watching , hey where you been ??

For a minute I thought you were going to say you saw a half eaten mailman
Which would mean you have some coyotes out there running loose

Nice , I got a laugh out if that one !

I've done without it for a couple of years but I can see the appeal. Right now (this second) I'm next to the PC using a 5v pass through, with a Joye 510 loaded with mainly VG juice. And it's getting a bit of a nasty taste if I hold the button down too long, which doesn't seem to happen so much with PG juice. The ability to drop or raise the wattage at will to "tune" it is the way forward I reckon.

I reckon it would be even better if it could be done intuitively on the fly (like a pressure sensitive switch), perhaps within a pre-set range set in a menu, instead of having to use screwdrivers etc.

Thanks for all of your answer ! , I am surprised at the numbers in the poll , I thought there would be less people that have tried VV/Vp vaping .

I started with the regular old Ecig from ??? whoever it was , and went HV soon after that , I got a device that did not do what it stated and I went to VV soon after that by building my own , I have not used a regular battery in a long time but that is ME .
