Have a question regarding polycarb carto tanks:

as we know, some e liquid can cause cracking/breaking/weakening of the Polycarb tube.

is the only negative affect that the tube is going to crack/break? (ruin a shirt, ,make a mess, etc.)
or
is the juice causing a "toxic"(negative) chemical reaction that is unsafe to consume? (leaching into the e liquid which will eventually be consumed/vaped)

I've been using KBV Hummingbird Nectar in a polycarb tank for about 2 weeks... no cracks tho.
(the KBV HB Nectar is on a list of known polycarb reactors)
Flavors and Juices that are known to react with polycarbonate : Big Daddy Vapor

Like I stated, no tank cracking...
The liquid is still clear, not murky or filmy... no visual sign to indicate the polycarb is breaking down and mixing with the juice.
I did notice a "taste", but, I haven't changed my carto for a while...
"taste"= plasticky, I can still taste the juice but it has a weird taste to it.... and yes, many factors to this: vaped too much, things I've eaten/drank, etc.

The taste isn't bad enough to where I'd know "something is wrong"... it's got me questioning my taste buds or wondering if the polycarb flavors are possibly leaching into the liquid.
(the "taste thing" could all be in my head... I haven't noticed or thought about this subject until after I saw that one of my daily juices is in the list of known polycarb reactors)

All I'm hoping to hear is that polycarb will not leach toxic/unsafe stuff into my eliquid(I don't care if my tank cracks every month or so)..... is this the case?

Also hoping to hear that that if polycarb is being vaped, it's not 'that bad'.....

The whole "BPA Free" thing has got me thinking about this now.
