Ok so let me start by saying my wife and I both have nemesis clones and we LOVE them. I am wondering however why it is the nemesis seems to be the most widely cloned mod around? I mean every website, store and head shop sells these things in varying colors sizes and quality. I am sure happy about it to, it makes sourcing parts and upgrades easy and cheap. Anyone have any ideas? Could it just be the perfect mod :p?

The Nemesis was definitely one of the higher quality mechanical mods, early on. Because of that, it was pretty much cloned by every Chinese manufacturer who dealt with ecigs. You can probably find over a dozen different clones of the Nemesis. Some are better quality than others. One unique thing about Nemesis clones is that there is no such thing as an authentic copper Nemesis. Yet, the copper Nemesis clone is one of the most popular mechs out there.

For those who have an original, you have a beautiful piece of art. If you paid whatever you paid, and you're happy with your purchase, then you did yourself right. For those who opt for a clone, it works well for you, you saved yourself a bunch of money, then you did yourself right. At the end of the day, you are the user. You have to like what you use, otherwise, get something else.

While I don't own a Nemesis anymore, I had a clone and enjoyed it very much. I might get a copper clone again in the future. If they ever produce an authentic copper Nemesis and I find one available, I may be inclined to pick that up instead. I appreciate both and at the end of the days, my bills get paid, my family gets fed nicely, and I have a plan towards my retirement. I think I'm safe to splurge on some vape gear when funds allow for it.

I own four authentic nemesis mods, a mini nemesis, and their 69 mod. Theres a reason i dont own other mods

The nemesis is over a year old, and yet the design has not been changed once. Wht does that tell you? Many modders come out with 3 versions of the same device within a year. Atmomixani doesnt do that, they make the mod perfect in every way before release.

Basically atmomixani has sold over 10,000 nemesis mods. My highest serial is 7700 about. They are up to 8-9K with the last batch of SS versions.
My brass is numbered 1950....not to mention they have a plethora of special editoons as well.

So its a near flawless design coupled with low voltage drop and pleasing aesthetics. Its the most successful mechanical mod of all time, no doubt.

And to me, it is art. The feelin of pulling a brand new one from its blue velvet pouch is something else. Amazing.
The authentic's craftmanship is truly remarkable. Its just a gorgeous bit of kit.

The nemesis also set a very high standard in voltage drop and versatility. All 3 tubes + kick is becoming a standard these days.
They basically pioneered silver plated brass contacts and also a telescoping switch.

Many have tried to usurp the nemesis as king of mods, but none in my eyes have succeeded in the same way. IMO of course

I agree. It is an awesome mod. I just started my authentic collection and it was the first mod I got. Love it!

I have read quite a few members reference the "local B&M" what is it exactley? where are they located? Where I am we only have one semi-chain vape store called New LEaf and I am pretty sure they are only in florida

B&M - brick & mortar. Just any physical shop, me thinks. As opposed to the B&B (bits'n bytes) online stores.

(OK I made that last bit up.)

The Nemesis is all about functionality, it is simple, it works, that is what made it so popular in the first place.

As well as that, it contains functional adjustable airflow control for bottom air intake atomizers, two paths for escaping gasses should your battery decide to puke on you, and the ability to run most if not all 18xxx series batteries.

It happens to be attractive in a way that surpasses the fact that it is little more than a set of tubes a 510 end cap and a simple switch. The appeal is equal to an executive as it is to a bagger at the corner grocery.

The Nemesis is durable, its highly unlikely a Nemesis will ever be down for the count, if used properly they will be functional well past humans existance. Not many things today are built to that standard.

Nothing today is exceptionally better, switches might be a bit better, voltage drop might be as well, the reality is that nothing is so much better that you would need to get another mod if you purchased a Nemesis.

Granted there are other mods out there that fit this same bill, and if that's what someone has they will be happy just like the thousands of Nemesis owners out there.

Atmomixani hit on every point with what amounts to a 12 pound sledge hammer, and he'd did so early in the game. The fact that he is still around leads me to believe the axiom "if your going to do something, do it well" and he has.

Black Hat is the first and only vape shop I have been to here in Jax. I still go there for their Cappuccino juice.

I worked downtown so I have seen the New Leaf in Rvierside but they don't seem to cater to the mech mod crowd so I've never dropped in there.

B&M refers to Brick & Mortar a store where you can go to instead of buying online

Okay that was alot of good info everyone, thanks. Its odd my wifes nemmy clone has an adjustable 510 and silver plated switch pin. Mine on the other hand is machined like butter dipped in motor oil and wrapped in canola, yet I do not have a floating or adjustable 510, my switch however is completley made out of silver ( I brought it to the store where I buy coins at to confirm). With that being said they do both work great, it was my first mech and its my goto pony as well.

Does anyone have any idea what that engraving is on the nemmy? Its like an angel with scythes or something? my wife is convinced a character from the game Diablo but I have my doubts
