Wow!! Looks great!! Sure is a lot of work too. It does look great!!
Thank you, I sanded everything, then painted over the teardrops with a brassish goldy color I got from creacote, then sanded that paint off which left paint only in tear drops. Then polish polish polish!

It was not much work at all guys! I didn't take it a part (afraid to try that and to lazy) I sanded it with a sanding block I had here at the house which took maybe 30 minutes. I finished polishing with a nail buffer, cause that's all I had since this was a wild hair idea last night. Problem was I couldn't get the paint out of the teardrops without a lot of work so I had ordered some sample colors a while back mixed together and just brushed over the white then sanded it off. This didn't start out as a brass tear drop idea, it ened up that way when I didn't want to do that much work! I did not do it the right way, I did it my way, which took all of two hours.

Thanks for posting this, Stormy. I'm very tempted to try this with my white mini. It is also pretty beat up, so I have a white jwrap on it. I'm not crafty whatsoever, but this sounds straight-forward enough. It might be time for a little project!

Glad to see you back! I had noticed some new printed clear wraps that were pretty cool at jwraps, so my intention was to sand it down to put one on it..that's where I ended up. Lol

Glad to be back - and just in time to celebrate my 100 days analog-free (just noticed my own banner)! I might have to commemorate the day by buying myself a present. That bronze mini that has been on the top of my list for long enough.... :hubba:

Congrats! My one year is the 7th and I celebrated by getting a new white one. I found two..a white mini v2.5 in perfect condition for $110 and a v2 satin for $100 that I'm having done in a deep purple by a guy on facebook.
We're hoping for this color purple
