posative up or down in wismec machina using 18650 adapter

I can't seem to get a straight answer on this. In the reviews they do it differently from person to person. If it's posative up, then it may vent in your face, if it's down then the tube becomes posative. The adapter seems to be designed incorrectly, not allowing the batterie to clearly vent. If you have one, please tell me how you use it with the adapter. Thanks and vape on.

What is the 18650 adapter made from?

I believe the mod was constructed with positive down in mind, battery vents from positive so that should be the part near the vent holes. There's no vent holes at the top. Maybe it wouldn't blow out the top but certainly blow out the side and over your fingers, eventually accompanied by some molten plastic or sharp shards of plastic.

That said, positive down brings its own risks, battery wraps cannot be damaged in any way or you'll get a hard short. If you ever manage to get something into those cutouts in the side of the mod by accident that would spell trouble, it could tear open the battery wrap.

So either way isn't a particularly good way to put the batteries in... you'll have to make the decision on what you feel more comfortable with. If it was me I'd probably still go with positive up and count on my ninja reflexes

Ben85, it's some kind of plastic. Untar one time I used those ninja moves and it worked. Batterie began to vent, but able to get it out and throw it in the shower lol. Thanks I think I'm gonna go with posative up, it's a small thing and the vent holes are big even though they are at the bottom.
