It feels like vaping is finally taking off in San Francisco!

Who'd be interested in a vapemeet? I've been talking to a few friends and a couple vendors, and we're thinking about putting one on.

Three questions for you:

  1. Would you be interested in attending a vaping event in San Francisco, CA?
  2. What is your current level of vaping experience? (Newbie, Medium, Advanced, Let me show you this mod I built)
  3. What do you want from a local vaping event?

I'm interested as long as the veterans don't make fun of my cig-alike. Hey, I like it, I'm happy with it and I just go my eGo VV.

I'm a noob and I'm most interested in meeting vapers & vendors. Talk about juices, etc.

I would not worry about that. We are all in the same boat, so to speak.

I'd be very interested in going. I'm still a newbie, but learning more and more. School takes up most of my time, but if I'm free I'd definitely do the 90 minute drive for it. I'd be interested in meeting with more experienced vapors, venders - but mainly for juices (I have my set up for now and need to save money) and a community to talk with.

I'm interested. I'm MORE interested if it can happen in time to do some kind of event for the media BEFORE California gets a bill signed that makes vaping == smoking.

I guess ViVi Nova is just short of being an RBA.

One problem with S.F. is they have supposedly made laws that vaping = smoking in SF, so no restaurant owners even have the OPTION of being vape-friendly. We might try Daly City or San Bruno, both cities are immediately adjacent to SF on the south.

I'm out of the area Apr 19- May 4.

I go to a lot of assorted events such as SciFi conventions where we take over a small motel or 7 huge hotels in a business district on a holiday weekend -- because the hotels BADLY need the revenue on the weekend and give us a great rate. The smallest I went to was a
"Filk" meet at a motel with a coffee shop inside.

The most vape-friendly places for daytime use I've found are pubs, especially if they are British- or Irish- owned. Taking-up-space friendly places include "banquet rooms" in assorted Pizza parlors, Coco's, etc-type places. You'd be surprised how many have back rooms.

This sounds great! I live in Downtown and I frequent a couple bars in the area (Tradition on Jones, Local Editon on Market & Playland on Polk) and they allow vaping indoors. It's a beautiful thing.

I consider myself to be a medium/advanced user. I've recently stepped into the world of mechanical mods & drip tanks, but I'm in love with my RBAs.

I hope we can make this happen!

I wonder if the Bay Area or even NorCal will catch up with SoCal's vape scene. Their brick and mortars carry all the nice stuff (high end mechanicals, RBA's, etc)

Well, a B&M tatoo and hookah and smokeless shop that only had 3 $85 brand-Z single-battery kits last year is all eG0s and/or clones and nice clearos and nova knockoffs. Lotta vv. And NOW they know the names of stuff!

i think that would be cool, i'd be down to go if i'm around. i'm not sure what places would be vape friendly, because i also heard of that law that passed in that county... however, i would consider myself a intermediate/advanced vaper. if i had a job, i'd probably be much more advanced. haha! i'm going to try to get a job at Vape shop and see how that goes!

Cheleliu, i stopped by Vapor Parlor also!

Nice to know about more vape friendly bars in SF. I work in the Financial District, I hate that when some call it FiDi, but Local Edition is not too far. I'm interested in a meet up as well. They have held a vape meet at Tasty Vapers B&M last year.
