So I've been vaping for like 4-5yrs and I feel like a noob again. I have "rebuilt" coils before so I do have some experience with that. I recently bought a cthulhu V2 and have owned an istick 30w for some time now. I am a single coil MTL guy. I have been building single coil 28g kanthal 1-1.2 ohm coils. But I am struggling to find the right wattage for them. none of the vape charts have good info for those ohms. I am hoping someone with more knowledge can help. thank you.

Those charts you speak of are antiquated. The way to go is start at a low wattage, and increase it untill happiness is achieved.
thanks, I kinda got it nailed down. and yes those charts are antiquated, or for sub-ohms and never show the low 1-1.2ohms. you'd think someone would have updated them by now.
Not only antiquated, but utterly redundant. How each person likes to vape is highly subjective, and dependant on other factors like wicking coil position and airflow. Your brain, your tongue and your lungs should provide you with all the info you need.
