DID clone with silica wrapped with 32ga kanthal.jpg
DID Clone with 2mm silica doubled and tail end into tank. 32 ga kanthal @ 1.8 ohms. wrap is a little tight slowing wicking but is working. :)

might try removing the fill screw before rebuilding to see how that helps with wicking.

reason for this build was AGA-T+ with mesh heats up juice and taste suffers.

Didn't you just get your AGA? Quick progression! (good thinking)

Yes a quick progression but I noticed the taste of the mesh and how it makes the juice taste change from the heat. So on the DID clone I made a wick as you had shown before with the doubled over tail design. I have removed the fill screw and does wick better. But I think next will try on another DID clone with a 3mm silica wick and see how that goes. I have some cotton wick on order so that will be later.
Trying to see what I like then will build the RSST RBA I just got in :D

I am a quick study and have patience to work with this stuff. This was a freehand coil with no stiffening pin lol. (was a real patience test lol)

In honor of His noodly appendage... 20130516_140309.jpg

2.0 ohms of 30 AWG, cotton wick (now soaking in my favorite mentholated brain melter...mmmm brains...) Gave it a test fire after dripping to the wicks, nice clean taste.... (this is kinda my "tester" for a XC-116 build that I'm hopefully going to try...)

((Did I pass Pdib?))
