Haha, thanks! Nope, haven't tried making a mod yet but I just may some day just for the hell of it. I love my REOs so if I get time I might.

6 jaws are better for thin walled workpieces like tubing to help prevent deformation. I got into maching from modding flashlights. I love the 6 jaw but there are plenty of times where I must use a 3 or 4 jaw.

I'd like to see the flashlights that you've turned with that

I never got around to making complete lights from scratch before I quit. I mainly took existing high end light & either upgraded them or did high output mods on them. Now I just make simple little things stricty out of Ti. Current build is a 30" two piece Ti javelin/spear. Not sure it's appropiate to post links here to other forums of my light builds & stuff. My light stuff can be found on CPF, same sn, but I stopped working on lights in 09, started in 03 so there quite of few of them that are documented. But I certainly don't want to keep this thread off track. ;)

Maybe not but if I do a tube mod would be first since it's easiest. But it wouldn't be cheap if I decided to sell one, I work with mostly Ti.
That's ok, I don't buy cheap mods... Then again, we may have entirely different definitions of the word cheap... Never had anything made from TI, so I'm liking the idea.

dual-coil.jpgNegative-Post.jpg

See if this %$#$%^!! works!!

Here's my dual coil stem-wick 304 :(, 1/16 Stainless Steel [SS] rope.
I use shrink wrap going through the top platform firewall [did I just coin a phrase?].
The other pic is my condescending emotion towards a raised negative post. :pervy:

The height is different but the ohmage of the two is spot on 2.3 ohms each.
Kanthal 32 5/4 wrap on each, parallel of course.
Oh ya, it's a AGA T-2. Bought 2 of them for craptastic experiments .
This thing BLOWS clouds but also is a juice-aholic.
The flavor is explosive, yum, yum.

I leave the fill screw loose on purpose, no leaks when laying down but
still vents enough for chain vaping.

Though it's a pesticide fogger machine do I still need to drill a second air-hole?
Right now it has both; A good throat hit and a good Vape of busted Model-T radiator hose proportions:toast:.

I don't understand why people have to throw salt over stupid shat, if you knew what he meant then why fack with him about it, who cares if he didnt use the proper term. The proper term for what he used is called SLANG, could also be consider a dialect of one who vapes. Get over yourself

Because when we stop using proper terminology, we end up replacing the the correct term with some ignorant crap and it's the ignorant crap that seems to get perpetuated.

My favorite example... "Juice Delivery Device"... Atomizers ARE NOT juice delivery devices, they deliver vapor. The only things delivering juice are wicks and mailmen (or mailwomen).

Also... for the record, they're all atomizers. It doesn't matter if if your'e talking about genisis attys, cartomizers (short for cartridge atomizer), clearomizers, 306 attys, 510 attys or any of the slew of other types... They are all atomizers. If it has a heating element and vaporizes e liquid, it's an atomizer.

Now... Because some dumb ... used incorrect terminology and because no one corrected it... I have to read posts from other dumb asses who "want help deciding between getting an RDA or an atomizer"...

Sorry for the rant... I feel much better now.

Ok, smart guy I will play your game, as per Merriam-Webster dictionary:

Delivery - the act or manner of delivering something; also : something delivered

I don't anything in there defining what is being delivered, therefore Juice Delivery Device is a correct statement. You could drink your juice for your fix but instead you choose to vape it utilizing an Atomizer to deliver the juices for you in a vapor form. I will show you the deliveries to get it from your bottle to your lungs, follow along now.

The bottle delivers it to your device( whither a dripper or genny or clearo or whatever), which in turn delivers it to your choice of wick, which in turn delivers it up to the coil, which changes it from liquid to a vapor and delivers it to your mouth which delivers it to your lungs through your esophagus.

Just saying and by the way using ATTY and then griping about the terminology that someone else using isn't the CORRECT term completely invalidates your point

Well, if you want to be a correct term nazi, the following commonly used terms are also incorrect:

atomizer
clearomizer
drip tip
pyrex
juice

Actually none of those terms are incorrect when used in the proper context...

atomizer - discussed above
clearomizer - a type of atomizer typically the type that starts with the letters "CE#"
drip tip - They originally designed to allow direct dripping into cartridge style atomizers, the term has evolved and now pretty much applies to any seporate mouth piece that attaches to an atomizer.
pyrex - Corning Inc. brand name for borosilicate glass - a type of glass commonly used in in tank construction. Since not all borosilicate glass is made by Corning, you could make a case using "borosilicate" instead of "Pyrex"... If you really wanted to.
juice - It's been used just as often as "e-liquid" for as long I've been vaping... 2 years now...

For the record, I don't have a problem with X-Drifter using the term "Ohmage"... He wasn't trying to imply that that it was a correct term. I know for a fact that he knows the correct terminology. He was being funny and he used in a part of the forum where the people reading it know the correct terminology.

My problem is with the people who hang out in the new members forum and feed garbage to beginners, who in turn, perpetuate incorrect terminology because they simply don't know any better.
