Ok, so a lot of us have shiny high end mods that we look after keeping them in tip-top shape at home safe and sound.

But what mods do you use and abuse on the daily.

I use the Aspire Puxos

Primarily a JAC Vapor DNA75W with an original Uwell Crown tank (the one on the left). The Geekvape Aegis Solo (middle) with the Cerberus tank is usually along for the ride, too. In addition to a pair of spare 18650's just in case I need them.

All my mod setups are beater setups. OKAY I have two mods I will not take out of the house my stabwood one, and my Asmodus PULSE which I cannot believe I actually SCORED but also it's big and bulky.

I might post pics of some of my worst ones if I get time later.

I sternly tell all my setups that duct tape may happen at some point. Well, electrical tape is better...

Smok TFV8 with RBA deck loaded with dual single core 26/32 claptons. Flavourful, saturated, nice plumes.
Noisy Cricket 2-25. Solid (main body is a single aluminium alloy billet), reliable, ergonomic, simple (no screen and no complex chipset just a dial and a DC/DC converter).
I use other devices for fun, this has been my every day all day setup for a number years. In fact its been years since I have bought any other devices. I have won a number of other devices but mostly pods and mostly PIF'd to other people.

I don't have any "beaters" per se ... the only mods that won't leave the house are simply the ones that aren't "in use" (for whatever reason). Otherwise, "in use" means just that, and that includes out and about (even with the stabwoods). That said, I guess the one that most qualifies as a "beater" is my SQ --- it has been my daily carry since it arrived last December:

Since about 10mths ago the Pico25 and Serpent Elevate have been the go every where, used 90% of the time. They just work for me almost perfectly as individual components and together it all feels pretty good and natural.
I honestly dont think either is amazing quality built for problem free longevity, so I bought a few of each.

I'm sorry that may be your everyday mod but it's not a beater mod. I don't even see a single scratch on it. Seriously.

Lolz, I didn't realise damage was prerequisite. That's actually a picture I took when it was new. Trust me it's gotten a worn in look now, all the clear coat is flaking off and it has plenty of dings and scratches.

I stopped using this mod almost two years ago and it just sat on the sidelines here. One day I was cleaning up and thought I would put in the vapocalipse box. Put a tank and a battery in it just to make sure it was still OK, and it wasn't. I thought about taking it apart just to see what was wrong with it, but decided to just give it a good burial and let it go in peace :)

My beaters now are Pico 75's, another really tough mod.

From Oct. 2017 - now that's a beater.

"For real. One of my friends finally replaced his beat to sh*t RX200/Crown combo with a brand spanking new RX200S/Crown. It still worked sometimes but I think he'll be happier with his shiny new replacement."

The glass is broken on this tank. It's held together by epoxy & rubber.
I bought over a dozen replacement Crown tank glass for him and he broke all my extras.
He trashed & replaced that new one within a few months IIRC.
